Months after the surgery, I started feeling a burning sensation in my little finger and hand again, in addition to the burning sensation in my elbow. I did a test: I bent my elbow and put my hand through it to feel if anything was passing through the epicondylitis, and I did feel something passing through when I bent it. Could the surgery have failed?
In 2021, one of the first signs I experienced was erectile dysfunction. My genitals felt cold. Soon after, I started experiencing post-micturition dribbling, as well as difficulty starting urination. In 2022, I began to have a slight internal burning sensation when urinating. In 2025, all of this progressed to severe internal burning in the perineal region, etc. I had tests for urinary tract infection, but it became clear that the problem was neurological. When I started the injections, I felt a reasonable improvement in pain and dysfunction, but as soon as I reduced the pain, it worsened again. Now I have resumed the injections every 2 days. I am very worried about the level of damage I may have to the pudendal nerve. I can feel the area, differentiate between hot and cold, but the pain and erogenous sensation are terrible. Has anyone else experienced this?
Why is it so disheartening to read about neurological recovery from small fiber optic neuropathy on the internet? Any doctor, any news report, almost always conveys the message that if the deficiency isn't treated early it can leave lasting effects and that recovery from neuropathy is usually incomplete. Of course, we know that neuropathy is no joke, the possibility of more serious damage exists, but they seem extremely pessimistic, always. This eats away at the mind of someone who is experiencing serious neurological symptoms throughout their body.
Sometimes I find myself thinking that deep down I don't want to accept the possibility of having pain for the rest of my life, or if these guys are exaggerating the fear surrounding the situation based on misinformation. I lean more towards the second hypothesis, because it's usually these types of professionals who misdiagnose the patient and recommend short, ineffective treatments for patients with neurological symptoms. I had to fight hard to get the injections
I'm not telling anyone to listen to their doctors, or anything like that, but I see a huge gap in understanding when it comes to small fiber neuropathy of metabolic origin.
Did the skin sensitivity return to normal, or even after the burning sensation subsided, was the sensitivity never the same again?
I had a B12 deficiency for about 6 years, with neurological symptoms for 4 years. I started taking weekly injections from February to April. I'm currently taking sublingual B12 because I haven't been able to get new prescriptions for injectable B12. Is it normal to feel very tired during recovery? I'm taking electrolytes, etc. I notice I have waves of fatigue where I need to sleep many hours to rest. My whole body vibrates inside at this time. My impression is that my body is expending a lot of energy to recover, but that's just my assumption.

Does anyone else also get worse from burning after taking magnesium? Whenever I take the pain it gets much worse.
I suffered for years with a dislocation of the ulnar nerve in my elbow. I had surgery last month. Today I had an electromyography exam which showed mild axonal damage to the nerve. The doctor said it's a sequela. Has anyone recovered from something like this? Doesn't the nerve recover over time?
My first symptom in 2022 was numbness in my left leg. Has anyone else experienced this? It's an internal numbness, not on the skin. I had an electromyography (EMG) done and no problems appeared in 2024.

Has anyone been able to reverse the dry skin caused by autonomic neuropathy dysfunction after treatment?
