Replacement remote for X90K - stick with TX800U or try TX910U?

I have an XR-55X90K and I’m looking for a replacement for the original RMF-TX800U remote. The right D-pad button doesn’t always register inputs. I already opened and cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol but this didn’t help.

I’m in Canada and haven’t been able to find any reasonably priced options locally. AFAIK, RemoteControls.com sells genuine Sony remotes and I’m looking at two options:

RMF-TX800U - $29.99 https://www.remotecontrols.com/product/RMF-TX800U.html

This is the safe option and I know it will work with my X90K but I don’t necessarily love the quality.

RMF-TX910U - $29.99 https://www.remotecontrols.com/product/RMF-TX910U.html

This is the more premium remote, so I’d rather get this one for the same price. My only hesitation is that the TX910U is meant for newer Sony TVs. I just want to make sure I won’t lose any regular TX800U functionality. I don’t want issues with the TV, voice controls, Bluetooth connectivity, app buttons etc. I know it has a find my remote function but I’m okay if that doesn’t work on the X90K.

Does anyone have first-hand experience using the TX910U with an X90K? Or is there another genuine Sony remote option that works well with the X90K?

Running into an issue with the front USB C port on my new build: Gigabyte B650M Eagle AX + Corsair 5000D case + FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W

The port works perfectly for storage. I’ve tested multiple USB C thumb drives and SSD enclosures, getting up to 200 MB/s write speeds, no disconnects and transferred over 100 gigs without any issues. Apple USB C to 3.5mm adapter also works fine. Anything using USB A to USB C adapter works too, even chaining USB C – USB A & USB A – USB C.

That said, phones, tablets and controllers don’t work. iPhone 16, Fire tablet, Kindle Colour all charge but Windows doesn’t detect them. Same with controllers (Xbox, Razer, Neo Geo). All of these work in the rear USB C on the motherboard.

I’ve reseated the F_U32C connector a few times, made sure it’s fully in, blew compressed air and checked for any visible damage. I've also tried toggling USB settings in BIOS but that didn't make any difference.

I’ve seen some posts about front USB C issues but they all seem to be orientation related (i.e. F_U32C needs to be flipped or properly seated). I don’t think that’s the case here since storage works reliably with no issues.

Manual says the board header is USB 3.2 Gen 1 and the case says USB 3.1 Type C. As far as I know, that’s basically the same thing but maybe there’s a compatibility issue?
