Is there a specific provider considered to be consistently cheap?

I'm with octopus flexible tariff for gas and electric . Price comparison sites tell me it's not the cheapest but I've never quite understood how to decide who to switch to. Because, even if one is cheapest today, how to know who will be cheapest tomorrow, next month or next year? Would be annoying to swap, only to find next month octopus became the cheapest

So, as per title, are any providers a safe bet to know I'll be consistently getting amongst the cheapest rate?

Any guidance on how to choose the cheapest energy provider gratefully received, thank you

How do you feel about performing sub-optimally at work?

I know this isn't exclusive to henrys. But still I'd be interested in your perspective as I feel how much you're earning is somehow still relevant...

How do you feel about/get comfortable with performing imperfectly? Not like negligently bad. But just letting standards slip. Whilst on a philosophical level, it's easy to brush away being imperfect, in practice the reality of not performing perfectly I find hard. For me in my job (relatively junior in a bank), it looks like having disgruntled colleagues for a delay in response to emails or maybe missing a detail which inconveniences them or an irritated mgr as a deadline has slipped.

With such massive workload, it feels I have to choose between having a life and doing my work to a high standard. Whilst the former is obvs the better option, people being dissatisfied by me/my work is unpleasant

Deciding between fixed and flexible

'Fixed' and 'flexible' gas rates are currently identical but the monthly cost of 'flexible' is lower than the fixed'. Presumably because OE are predicting rates still go down. Is this a widespread assumption?

Substance-over-style food recommendations please

Hallo! For my upcoming trip to Hamburg, I'd love to hear any 'substance-over-style', unpretentious places to eat please. Somewhere that spends more time making good honest food than it does on its marketing or decor!

The only time I've really loved a scent is when now I smell it on someone. But I obvs can't stop strangers on the street to ask what they're wearing. And I've never found a perfume I love in a shop - they just don't smell the same on a piece of card...

Has anyone found a solution to this conundrum?
