What are some books that use really beautiful, descriptive, and lyrical language? I’m hitting up the bookstore later today and I want to get some books that utilize lyrical prose well. What do you recommend? I’m looking for books that read as almost poetical in nature. Books that have amazing descriptions and take you aback by how beautifully the author can string words together. I’ve heard that books such as Where the Crawdads Sing, The Earthsea series, Blood Meridian are good at this, but I want more suggestions. I would appreciate it greatly if you could suggest me a book.
