Shops with used movies, merch

Hi, all!

I'm going to Hokkaido in two weeks with a friend, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any specialty stores selling used movies, posters, chirashi, etc in Sapporo.

All advice appreciated, thank you very much :^)

Do any Japanese distributors add English subtitles?

Hi! I'm going to Japan in a month and change, and I was wondering if there are any distributors that add English subtitles to their releases. In the noughties every DVD you could buy in Norway had subs in 20+ languages, but home video obviously isn't what it used to be. Are there any labels I can look out for when I browse stores over there? I'm going to Hokkaido, if there are any that somehow only sell in Tokyo (e.g.).

All help appreciated!

Adapting Castle Ravenloft to different campaign

Hello, all!

I'm running a Candlekeep campaign, currently two players, level 7 Fey Wanderer Ranger and Echo Knight Fighter, and the fighter has spent nine weeks studying blacksmithing so he can make his own gear. I figured a good final test of his blacksmithing proficiency would be to forge a magic item, so I showed him some level appropriate items, and the one he landed on was kinda spooky, so I gave them a quest to defeat an undead and bring a piece of haunted metal back. Vague enough to build on.

Anyway, I figured Castle Ravenloft would be a good shout, since there's a very detailed map to it, but when I played a bit of CoS three years ago this was the session I joined in, and Strahd basically just kicked us out after we stumbled around blindly.

What would people who know it recommend I keep and cut from it? I'm obviously removing Strahd and any story-specific characters, but with the size of it, I imagine there's a lot of flab on it. All suggestions are appreciated! :^)

Advice for making undead encounter interesting

Hello to all :^)

One of my players, a Gold Dragonborn Echo Knight, will soon have spent nine weeks training in Smith's Tools, and I though I'd reward him with a cool magic item, provided he succeed a quest. I thought I'd give them an undead dungeon where he'd need to gather armor from undead knights (Revenants, Knight of the Order, Wights?) and melt it down to create this edgy item he's picked out.

I thought that having a big slug-out brawl is fun, but I'd love any suggestions on how to make an encounter more interesting than just killing everything! I usually run pre-made adventures, so I'm not great on changing it up, hehehe

PS: They'll be level 8 if they survive the next battle

USB stick disappeared during file transfer, doesn't register anymore

I was transferring two folders, each containing a movie file and a subtitle file, onto my PNY memory stick, which I use to watch movies on my TV. I got an error message, saying some of the files were on the stick or something like that, and I clicked "skip this file" and "do it for all". Then the window abruptly closed, and the USB stick no longer registered in File Explorer. I've tried plugging it into the TV, and it doesn't register. It's in device manager under "disk stations" (or w/e it's called in English), but I can't fix it from there. In Disk Manager it doesn't show up.

Any advice? I had a problem with it some weeks ago, but a friend who had access to a computer (I only had an 18 y.o. one available at the time) recovered the files for me. It's strange that this should happen twice.

Thanks for all suggestions!

I got this from the university gardener since the campus is a big greenhouse with lots of vines everywhere. In the past nine or so months it has sprouted many new shoots and leaves, but it's not even an inch longer ! I live in central Norway so it has needed grow light help in winter, but it's got a good spot with lots of late afternoon sun. Is this normal? I don't mind either way!
