Built a festival planner app. Cercle is the next stop. Heading there this weekend. Need help pinning the stages on the map

Salut Cercle crew,

Solo dev here. Over the last months I've been building a festival planner app called FestMates. It's not Cercle-specific (works for any festival: line-up by stage and day, personal day plan with reminders, an on-site map you can drop your own pins on, share your plan with friends via a link). Cercle Festival 2026 is the next festival I'm actually going to, so it's loaded in and ready.

I'm flying in this Thursday and will be there for the full three days. Genuinely excited, first time at Cercle Festival, first time at Le Bourget. Dancing next to an A380, in front of an Ariane rocket, is just so unreal.

What's in there for Cercle 2026:

  • Full three-day line-up across Concorde, A380 and Ariane (plus the Cupola Conf Talks). Filter by stage, see what's live, what's next, what overlaps
  • Tap any act to add it to "My plan". Overlaps between acts you've added get flagged so you can decide ahead of time who you're sticking with
  • Reminders ping you before each act. Default 30 min, customisable to 5 / 10 / 15 / 45 / 60
  • Site map showing the stages on the actual Le Bourget tarmac. You can drop your own pins for meeting points or anything else
  • Share your day-plan with friends via a link, no account needed on their end
  • Works offline once you've opened the festival once on a good connection. Festival site reception is usually bad
  • FYI, I recently added a satellite view for the map and it'll ship in the next version

Free, no ads, no account, everything stays on your phone. iOS and Android.

One ask for anyone who's been before:

I placed the four stages on the site map using best-effort estimates from satellite imagery + photos from past editions. If anyone here has been to Cercle Festival before (any year) and can confirm or correct the exact location of any of the four stages, I'd love to fix it before Friday. Ideally as Google Maps coordinates (right-click the spot, copy the lat, lng), but even "the Concorde stage was actually 50m east of where you have it, between those two hangars" would help. Replies in the thread or DMs both work.

If you're going this weekend and try the app, please tell me what's broken, missing, or annoying. I'm a one-person team and the only way this gets good is by people actually using it on-site and telling me. I'll be reading every comment.

See you on the tarmac

Cheers

Hey Rockville crew,

Solo dev here. I've been building a festival planner app called FestMates. The idea is that it works for any festival (line-up, day-plan, on-site map, reminders, all of it). I just launched it this week and I needed a first real-world test. Rockville 2026 is the one, full line-up, stages, and map are all loaded in and ready to go. Next week I'm heading to Dunk! Festival in Belgium myself to put it through its paces in the field.

If you're heading to the speedway this weekend and want to try it, your feedback would mean a lot. I'm a one-person team and the only way this gets good is by people actually using it on-site and telling me what's broken or missing.

What's in there for Rockville 2026:

  • Full line-up across all four days, broken down by stage (Apex, Octane, Garage, Inferno, Vortex)
  • Tap any act to add it to "My plan". If two acts you've added overlap, it flags it so you can decide ahead of time who you're sticking with
  • You can also drop your own pins on the map, like where you parked, where the meet-up spot is, or that food truck you want to find again.
  • Reminders ping you before each act starts. Default is 30 min, you can change it to 5 / 10 / 15 / 45 / 60
  • Share your day-plan or dropped pins with friends via a link, no account needed on their end
  • Works offline once you've opened the festival once. Festival site reception is usually bad

Free, no ads, no account, everything stays on your phone. iOS and Android.

If you're going this weekend and try it, please tell me what's missing, what's annoying, or what's wrong with the data. I'm around all weekend, reading every comment and DM.

Have a sick festival
