If you live or work near Giant in the mid-Atlantic region, check your local store for this deal:

Giant currently has their Febreze fabric sprays, 14.8oz only, on sale for $3 each. They also have a digital coupon for $6 off two bottles, expiring 9/17, making both free: https://giantfood.com/product-search/febreze%20fabric?searchRef=&semanticSearch=false

Check your local Safeway for this deal (works for me in Northern Virginia stores):

Safeway currently has their Stem light traps on sale, $14.99 down from $24.99: https://www.safeway.com/shop/product-details.970837439.html They also have a $10 off digital coupon, expiring 9/10: https://www.safeway.com/loyalty/offer-details/53967093/SC making it $4.99.

Safeway has their Chips Ahoy 9oz World Cup cookies on clearance for $1.99 each. Use this link to check your local store: https://www.safeway.com/shop/search-results.html?q=chips%20ahoy&tab=products&sort=price (and sometimes it's helpful to switch to "pickup" instead of shopping "in store", as that's the only way they seem to show if something's out of stock).

Ibotta has an offer, $3 off each pack, limit 5 redemptions, making all five free and earning $5 on top of that, making it a moneymaker. They also have their BTS Oreos on clearance for $1.99 a pack: https://www.safeway.com/shop/search-results.html?q=bts%20oreo&tab=products and Ibotta has an offer for $1 off each BTS Oreo purchase, limit 5, so while not a freebie, it might help to earn a bonus.

I found both the World Cup Chips Ahoy and BTS Oreos on random endcaps and right at the entrance of my local stores, so you might have to hunt a bit to find them.

u/FearlessPark4588 posted a variation of this deal a few days ago, but as of today it works at Safeway in the DC/MD/VA area.

I stumbled on this deal today:

Giant sells some tubes of Crest, size 4.2oz, for $1.99. Check your local store with these links:
https://giantfood.com/product/crest-baking-soda-peroxide-whitening-fresh-mint-toothpaste-4.2-oz-box/271201
https://giantfood.com/product/crest-fluoride-anticavity-protection-regular-toothpaste-4.2-oz-box/169338

Ibotta has an offer, $2 off one tube of Crest, making this a freebie. Not sure if the offer refreshes, as this is the first time I've seen it, but it's still a nice little deal.

I also earned 30 Giant reward points on the purchase, but I'm not sure if everyone has those same "earn" offers.

**As u/Retail-Forever pointed out, this offer also works at Dollar Tree, and their Crest toothpastes are currently on sale for $1 apiece, making it a money maker.

After 24 hours, the Ibotta offer refreshed for me. Here's hoping for a few more!

I won't dox you or myself, so we'll keep it to somewhere in Fairfax County and your name starts with "K".

I was in the changing stall while what seemed like a friend of a friend was chatting you up in the main locker room. She complimented you on your name, asked if it was Greek, and asked if you were in school.

Twenty seconds later came the mysterious, fast-talking job pitch. To your credit, you asked if it was a pyramid scheme, and the recruiter's voice got very low and serious, claiming she'd never do that.

But she wouldn't say the name of the company, what the job is, or any details to "protect you", because if she gives too much away, her superiors might not want to work with you! Instead, she wanted your number and to call in to a phone or text chain, see if you're a "good fit", and if they like you, they'll go forward and you'll get a presentation on what they're all about.

You both sounded so young and nice, so I hope it worked out and wasn't a scam. But if it was a pyramid scheme/MLM pitch, what was the "opportunity"?? Dying to know. Her style was good, too. Very "we've got to make sure you're who we want to work with", because they can't take just anyone they find in a Planet Fitness locker room.

This week's sales and coupons just arrived, and you can get a free 48oz bottle of soy milk:

Check your local store to see if it carries Silk's Protein soy milk: https://giantfood.com/product-search/silk%20protein%20soy?searchRef=&semanticSearch=false It comes in original and chocolate flavors.

Today it's on sale for $3.99, and has a digital coupon for $3 off one bottle. Clip it, pay .99 and submit to Ibotta for $1.50 off, making it a freebie and small moneymaker.

***Check your Giant account for the coupon while logged in; apparently not all coupons are for $3 off***

For the past two days, at two different stores in Fairfax County, my digital coupons aren't working at checkout. I put my number in, the sales work, the rewards I redeem work, but the coupons do not come off my total.

The coupons are valid; they work correctly when using them on the app, but not when I'm shopping in store (and they aren't pickup/delivery only coupons and claim to work in store).

There was some update last week, and their coupons/rewards weren't accessible for a while, so I'm wondering that did something weird to their system. I asked customer service and they said everything was working fine, but yesterday, the "flexible rewards" summary at the bottom of the receipt, despite earning points, was missing too. That's back to working today, but I still can't redeem digital coupons.
