I did not realize sculpty iii was bad, i just grabbed this block because it was on clearance and idc about the color(it's being painted). I used tinfoil in the head and a small amount in the muzzle but maybe should have used more. I bulked out the muzzle more than i expected
Can i mix air dry clay and already baked sculpty? I could probably fix her cracks and the mistake i made with the eyes(i didnt account for clay shrinkage so my eye blanks dont fit as well, and she could use more eye detail)

I lowered her down to 1500gb and still no takers so i decided just to keep her since she ages up tomorrow! Honestly i was nervous selling her anyways lmfao. I was just so desperate for gb, but ill just sell her heats instead! Her sister(my other first gen) is close to death(this febuary will be her last) so it's nice to have a "replacement"
Now i need to name her. Her sister is named kiwi so i want a fruit related name maybe? Or tropical sounding maybe 🤔

My mudroom unfortunately traps a lot of butterflies because i cant open the tops of my windows. I check every morning and afternoon but i unfortunately missed this guy :(. Ive been wanting to see one in my yard(though *alive*). Ive seen their caterpillars on my lemon tree but never the butterfly!
I have a ton of passion vine all over my yard so im used to saving tiny gulf flitillary butterflies. This guy(i think it's a male) is so big compared to them! Theyre the largest butterfly in North America! Though honestly i thought they'd be a bit bigger lmao

Ive only been active on the site at this time of year once, and back then the economy was me spending like 5-10gb on a dirty daedal pie because pies were so expensive and i was so excited to find one so cheap(she's still one of my favs, i froze her). So im not sure how things are usually this time of year

Basically i have some valuables i want to sell but the current market makes it barely worth it. Ive watched first gen gons go from 2k gb to under 1500 in less than a week(and saw someone mention in chat they sold one for 3k right before the crash). It barely seems worth selling mine now? Like 1k is nothing to sneeze at but considering a month ago the same lion was worth 2k more it feels like im getting a horrible deal.
Im wondering if the market is going to get worse from now on(example: first gens will be less than 500gb because they're over saturated due to the rate increase), or things will get better once there's more gb on the market again. Curious what peoples market predictions are!

Did close ups of the ones im stuck on. Found this in a thrift store and got it just because it was cool and full of garnets(my birthstone)! I know the clear stones on the right are quartz and the purple at the bottom are amethyst. I can take photos in different light if needed!
Green stone- i thought jade but realized it's slightly different. Maybe aventurine?
Blue translucent stone- having a hard time with this one because of all the inclusions. Theyre a bit more dusty blue when dry, but turn the darker blue in the closeup when wet. Ive tried cleaning them but the red marks(iron? Clay?) dont go away. They change color in different lighting. Dull lighting theyre more dark powder blue, but in the light of my lamp theyre more grey
Very light green stone- thought this was part of the quartz behind it but realized it was a different texture/color!
Red/purple stone- 99% sure it's garnet, just wanted confirmation
Light blue stone- no guesses here. Tried searching but didnt see something similar because the search was only giving me sapphires and aquamarine 🙃
Clear stone with white inclusions- im guessing quartz but it seems a different texture? Closeup is slightly wet so the inclusions pop out more
