Symptoms of this stupid variant

Just like it says, I (30F) have stupid Covid again and I wanted to list my symptoms I’m currently experiencing from the variant incase there are others out there like me who are wondering what the heck they have.
Day 1 (Saturday)- noticed slightly swollen lymph nodes and tenderness under the ear by my jaw.
Day 2 (Sunday)- extremely stiff neck at base of skull, green nasal discharge, minor dry cough (at this point I’m thinking sinus infection possibly)
Day 3 (Monday)- Painful sharp sore throat with pain that radiates into the ears and jaw, worsening dry cough, 100.4F fever, and light body aches.
Day 4 (Tuesday)- Sharp sore throat, intense congestion, sinus headache, intense neck stiffness at base of skull, body aches, fever, green nasal discharge, and worsening dry cough (genuinely started to worry I had meningitis at this point).
Day 5 (Wednesday, present day)- Woke up and did a quick wipe down of my kitchen and realized I couldn’t smell the disinfectants I was using. Proceeded to smell every candle in my house while cussing profusely. Body aches are bad, congestion is terrible, headache is so bad I can feel it in my teeth, and the dry cough is near constant.

I wanted to list my symptoms because I’m an OG long hauler from my initial infection back in 2020 and I live with CFS. I hope that by helping other people recognize what they have that they can learn to take recovery slow so that they can avoid having what I deal with daily.
I think the reason I didn’t immediately suspect Covid with this variant is because it has changed a bit from the times I’ve gotten it in the past. The last 3 times I had Covid I noticed an intense increase in the amount of mucus my body made. So, because I’m a woman (please forgive my vulgarity, as I lack a better way of saying it) I was always very “lubricated” without any sort of arousal. When I first started noticing symptoms of this variant I thought it might be Covid, but when I didn’t have the increase in mucus I figured it must be something else. But no, the loss of smell doesn’t lie. Please be careful out there people. This stuff is no joke.

Covid ruined my life

I (30F) got Covid in December of 2019. A full two months before people believed in was in the states. Shortly after I got it I woke up one morning and felt terrible. My whole body felt so heavy, and I told my husband that I felt like someone had tied weights around my arms and legs. I assumed I was experiencing the early stages of fatigue from the flu, and assumed that I would be better in a week or so. But I never got better. I went from being a very hyperactive young woman, to suddenly being the most lethargic person I know. I have went to so many different doctors and specialists, and I’ve had almost every test humanly possible done on me. Doctors can’t figure out how to help me because everything comes back normal on basic CBC’s, and I feel totally gaslit when I tell them that I’m experiencing thinning hair, libido loss, tachycardia, and chronic fatigue and they tell me “Well, your levels look fine to me”.
It’s so disheartening because I didn’t even know I had long covid until a year ago, and because no one considers covid to be a threat anymore they have now shut down most of the long covid clinics in my state. I feel like I am being failed by both my government for cutting off the funding, but also by the doctors who are so quick to rush me out and write me off as a hypochondriac.
I hate it because I used to only go to the doctor when I was sick during the winter but now it seems like I’m there every few weeks. I’ve spent thousands of dollars trying to figure out a cure for something that people still deny the existence of, and every day I grieve for the life I could have had if I had never caught Covid. I just wish I could be better already and have back the energy I used to have.

Can’t find Spanish song

I was scanning through the channels and found this really catchy fast beat song in Spanish, and it was over before I could get my phone out to figure out what it was. The only lyrics I can remember (I don’t speak Spanish) is that in between verses the artist says in English “I bring rum for when I need it”.
Any idea what this could be? TYIA

I (30F) have been a long hauler for six years now. I have dealt with a long list of long COVID related symptoms, and I’ve found that most of them all come back to the same place which is that my nervous system is out of whack. I’ve read that some people have had great success treating their long COVID by applying the teachings of Dr. Sarnos, but when I watched his seminar I was left more confused than when I started.
So, my questions are for anyone who says that they healed their long COVID by treating TMS:
•What steps or changes did you make in your daily life?
•What things were the most beneficial to your recovery?
•How long did it take you to fully recover?

Thank you for reading this far and I appreciate any help you can give me! 🙂

I (30F) am a first time home buyer. I noticed this morning that there was a termite drone in my kitchen sink, so naturally I panicked and decided to go up into the attic to see if there was a nest somewhere. What I saw instead was way more concerning. It looks like some of the roof beams are bending, and I need to know how concerned I should be and also who I would call to fix this because I am stressing out and have no idea what to do. Please help me 😭
