Is Apotex really less effective than brand-name? (Canada)

I just finished my first (brand-name) pen, so I need to pick up a second pen this week. I’m hesitant to get the generic (Apotex) because of one post where two people said it did nothing for appetite/food noise. Idk why, but it’s making me anxious that the generic doesn’t work as well.

HAE tried the Apotex? I just don’t want to waste a month on a less effective medication after a really good start on the brand name. (I’m not weighing myself, but I can tell inflammation is WAY down, and my sleep is much, much better. No food noise, steadily low appetite, etc.)

Novo Nordisk has a discount coupon, but I don’t know how much it will reduce the cost at London Drugs.

TIA!

Cost for high astigmatism glasses?

For those with extremely high astigmatism, 1) does Costco do high-cylinder prescription? And 2) if so, how is the cost compared to a local (not online) optician?

My glasses prescriptions have always cost about $1200 per lens because I had such severe astigmatism (cyl 6-9) as well as severe myopia. Thanks to cataract surgery, the myopia is reduced, and I’m hoping to get my next glasses at Costco.

Also, can I bring in frames or do I have to buy the frames from Costco?

Javadi’s signoff on her TikToks is “Be safe. Be brave. Be kind.” This is almost identical to BC Provincial Health Officer Bonnie Henry’s “Be kind. Be calm. Be safe.”

Dr. Henry’s daily briefings and her decisions were seen as exemplars in the early days of the pandemic, and that phrase became iconic.

Then, Duke refers to Robby’s motorcycle as “Bonnie.” Coincidence?

I had cataract surgery and there was a minor complication, which means I can’t tolerate being in sunlight (for now), even with the big, clunky glasses.

But I’m desperate to get outside and move. Not a big hike, just a short, flat walk under trees.

Suggestions? TIA!
