Riddim question

I just got a new Riddim. I have a Medieval, but no Ep-133. My Medieval is loud through the speaker. This Riddim is very quiet in comparison, even with the volume all the way up. Does this mean it’s defective? There is nowhere in my town I can see one to compare it with.

How to play these notes?

This is from a version of Take Five I wanted to learn, but playing 9-11 on another string at the same time is impossible isn’t it? I can’t figure out how to do it. edited because my dog jumped up when I was hitting post and did some typing.
