has anyone noticed the similarities between lemon demon and the buggles (or even heard of the buggles)?
before i discovered lemon demon my favourite band was the buggles. and i really enjoyed lemon demon when i first discovered it cos lemon demon seemed like the child of the buggles.
the buggles are the guys that made video killed the radio star.
their music is really similar to lemon demon's, i feel, except more serious, less humourous, but both kinda have the same style of songs, where the lyrics are often a story (often unrelated to tracks before and after but still feeling connected) and all the instruments and stuff are very electronic but still feel not overly electric, and the music feels kinda quirky in a way.
main thing is the buggles are from ~1980 and only made two albums, one of which isnt even on spotify for some stupid reason
its always fascinated me how similar lemon demon and the buggles seem to me and i wanna know if its not just me cos i find this suuper cool.
