A lot of you guys use it to refer to white/straight textured guys with permed hair, but I cant help but feel like I’m catching some strays when people start referring to the totality of anyone with curly hair and a fade…
As a bi-racial guy myself, I see the term tossed around as an insult, which is fair because a ton of the perm jobs look like complete shite, but it’s not like I have a choice in how my hair lays lol. It’s naturally super curly, and once it gets too long on the sides I get a clean up and the result is often what most would call a broccoli cut.
So maybe chill out on the hate, I guess? I mean if you guys think the cut is more associated with bad perms than all the power to you because that’s something that someone actively sought to get done to their hair, but maybe specify that so the guys with natural curls don’t get harassed. 🤷🏽♂️
