I have a nice Sleep on Latex mattress that I’m using with a very inexpensive Zinus bedframe that I bought on Amazon years ago. I’ve been ignoring back pain for quite a while now, but I can’t ignore it anymore. I’m currently lying on the mattress on the floor. I’ve done a little research and I see that people sometimes add slats when there’s too much space between them. Is that something I could do to provide more support? I don’t know that a bunkie board will provide enough. I don’t care about the longevity of the mattress anymore. I’m at my wits end with this and I was about to throw the bedframe away and just sleep on the mattress on the floor, but I thought I would try to find a solution before I do that.

Another part of me wonders if I simply need springs to support my body at this point. I’m 46 years old, 190 pounds.
