Wanted to show some alternate paintjobs I've worked on for the Inner Sphere Standard Battle Armour from Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries :)
Already showed these on twitter and on a discord server I started for Battletech related 3D fanart :)

Working on a dialogue-driven mod where you interact more with NPCs using Starfield Animation Framework. (Was not a fan of the whole 'pheromones' driven approach.) and I wanted to know how linking dialogue works for Starfield. I've gotten to the point of creating a greeting topic for the player towards any friendly NPC, but have run into a issue where I click on the topic in-game and nothing happens. The topics show up in the dialogue menu for the NPCs, but clicking them does nothing.
I am having trouble getting New Vegas to work properly with my modlist. After updating some mods and continuing my playthrough, the game is running into a issue where the mouse cursor is frozen in the center of the screen at the main menu, and the main menu has a black background.
The main menu does still load and I can navigate using my arrow keys, but the mouse is still completely frozen no matter what I do, and I can not even look around in-game.
I've troubleshooted it myself to try and figure out what the problem is, and there was a issue where a Mod Configuration Menu bug could result in this happening, but I've downloaded the patch for that specific issue. And it has not fixed it unfortunately.
I also have MCM Extender, but I don't think it's the source of the problem either.
Has anyone else experienced this? And if they have, what was the solution for fixing it?
- Have verified files and everything is there.
- Only smal UI addons such as Loot Menu and vanilla HUD remastered.
- I am using New Vegas Reloaded.
I wanted to frame this as a general question because I'm not quite sure what kind of mods can cause this problem. Recently after updating my modlist (which is based on Nordic Souls), I've run into issues where Skyrim crashes trying to load any save I make, even fresh ones shortly after starting a new game.
I've looked up similar problems and they mention it could be due to save file limits or corruption, but the saves aren't even flagged as corrupt because they do load.
I should mention that this modlist was doing fine until recently when I updated my SKSE mods. And I can't post a crash log because Crash logger PDB SSE AE VR - PDB support doesn't seem to be able to produce a crash log until the game has loaded, unfortunately.
So, I've been troubleshooting my modlist for the past few weeks trying to work out what mods are contributing the most to the pointer handle file limit. I have progressed from the game crashing when I try to dump a .txt file using Starfield Engine Fixes that provides a count of how close you are to the limit the game can handle.
Currently, I am at roughly 95% of the total limit (can't remember the exact number off by hand), and am looking to cull some of the largest mods I can think of that contribute to hitting that limit.
I've bee informed that the main mod types that greatly affect the limit are mods adding ship parts, mods adding new locations and POI, and generally mods that affect locations.
Can I get some guidance in what others might be?
I have some Creations installed such as Redgrave and Vigilance, and the main POI mods I have are Desolation, Permanent POIs and the Dark Universe mods.
Edit: Guess what the culprit was? Not a pointer handle file limit as it turns out. It was a mod called Interstellar Traffic that I didn't notice had not been updated for the Free Lanes Update.
