My new pea puffers

I'm so excited about my new pea puffer (species only) aquarium. 70l Juwel Primo, planted, with some pest snails. The peas are tank bred (so I've been told), used to frozen food (although I'm also ready to feed live food) - they eat from tweezers, are used to people looking through the glass, which is great, because I've done nothing else today and already had their first meal. ❤️

Amanos being berried

Exciting times, as it is my first pregnant shromp - imagine all of these would actually hatch. But instead my minnows and corys will probably have a field day with the larvae.

Look what I found

I went to my local fish shop to buy some corys for my 125l tank and they had longfin albino corys in stock!!

They are stunning! I'm so excited.

They touched every single grain of sand yesterday (hence the chaos) and have now settled down.

Tank is cycled and I'm nervous

My 125 Juwel Rio has been set up since two weeks and because I added filter material/gunk from my established aquarium, it's fully cycled as of this morning (nitrite peak was Thursday). I have a quarantine tank with 15 celestial pearl danios, cherry shrimp and a rabbit snail that I want to transfer over, but I'm suddenly really nervous about it.

Is there any benefit of waiting a few more days? Water parameters in both tanks are the same (PH, GH, KH and same source water). The quarantine tank is 34l and planted and they're not suffering or anything, but of course I don't want them to suffer transfer shock or leave them in a smaller tank for too long. Just looking for some reassurance.

A severe case of MTS

Much to my husbands dismay, I seem to suffer with MTS. This is the last one, I swear.

The lido 120 (1) I have since April (Ramshorn, Amano Shrimp, Neocaridina shrimp, panda cory's and mountain minnows), since May I have the Fluval flex 34l (2+3) (which was technically my snail overflow, but now also houses some celestial pearl danios and neocaridina) and I've set up the Rio 125 (4+5) last night (planned stock is a large celestial pearl danio school, golden mountain minnows and peppered cory's).

Can't wait for the plants to grow in the Rio 125, I went with a slightly larger variety.

Let me know what you think - feedback is always welcome.

I can finally join the club

I ordered cherry shrimp for my smaller 34l setup (or snail jail), but added some new plants yesterday and my water parameters weren't perfect this morning. So "temporarily" I've added them to my larger aquarium (120l planted, panda corys, mountain minnows, amano shrimp) and will transfer some of the offspring further down the line.

I'm so excited, they're adorable.

I got 3 extra, in case of any deaths (had none) and even got an extra shrimplet. One of the girls is berried! Yay !!! Shrimp! ❤️🦐

First tank 5th week in

I'm so nervous about doing something wrong, but I am equally excited, happy and proud of this tank (second photo is without the second plant pot at the back wall).

I have panda corys, mountain minnows and since today Amano shrimp. Exciting times. Any feedback?

... About my first tank mates. Lil' cuties.

Yes, I know they reproduce quickly when food is plenty, which it currently is, a few days after cycling. But looking at their faces makes me so happy.
