Why Don’t we Call them “Head” for Short?

Like short for Radiohead. Like “yeah man I’m just listening to some head right now. Some prime head, some Kid A.” It just rolls off the tongue easily, and it sounds cool. Why don’t people do this? Radiohead fans should start saying this, I think.

Does this sound like hidden hearing loss?

Sorry for the annoying post, but I’m in my early 20’s, and between the ages of maybe 13-17 or 18 I listened to music full blast for hours a day not thinking it mattered - I’m an idiot, I know. I also go to concerts pretty regularly and didn’t start wearing earplugs until the last few.

I had an actual hearing test a few months ago and they said my scores were great and showed no hearing damage or damage to my eardrums, and during the actual test I don’t think there was a single part I failed or missed. However, I’ve since heard about hidden hearing loss and it’s totally freaked me out. Often when I’m at restaurants I can barely hear the people I’m with. I can “hear” them, sure, but their voices seem so faint that I feel like I’m putting effort into hearing them because the background noises drown them out a little. I was at this dive bar with two friends recently and the music was so loud I felt like their voices were so faint and I was just barely clinging onto the conversation. I was super drunk and even then it freaked me out so bad that it killed the mood for me. Usually when I’m in these situations I’ve started asking people if it’s hard for them to hear and they say no or not really. When I’m in the car with someone and the A/C or music is going or we’re on the highway I find it difficult to hear as well, especially if I’m in the back of the car.

I’ve since applied settings to my iPhone that caps my volume at 80db when I’m using AirPods, but sometimes when I’m listening to them they don’t feel loud enough. I’m a major hypochondriac and I get super into my head about this with my bad anxiety, and I can’t tell if it’s just that or if this a real thing. It doesn’t bother me too much when I’m not thinking about it. I can still hear birds chirping outside and quiet frequencies like that which people tend to say is something they can’t hear anymore when they go through hearing loss. Does this sound like it’s in my head or a genuine concern?

Trying to find a specific video/story

Hopefully somebody knows which one I'm talking about, but I remember listening to one recently that was from the point of view of a guy dating a girl named "Duda" (not sure how to spell that but it was pronounced literally DOO-DA) and they were on some sort of trip in the story I believe. Cannot figure out which video it was for the life of me, could be a modern one or something I rewatched that's older.

Are These Wellue Results Concerning

I’m not currently using cpap, but I’ve recently gotten a wellue ring to track my sleep. Are these results concerning? Most of the night I was in the 95-100 range, with only five minutes below 95. I’ve used it the past few nights and these are typically the ranges of results. I have dipped as low as 85 one night but anything below 90 has always been for less than a minute of the night. I feel okay without the cpap besides headaches some mornings and PACs which seem to stem from anxiety. Would you be worried about these results?

[TOMT] Scene From a TV Show or Movie

Very random, but I have this memory of a movie or maybe series I watched when I was pretty young. I don’t remember anything else about it whatsoever except this one scene. I’m pretty sure they were high schoolers, but one character - a blonde girl who is flat-chested - is romantically interested in a black kid who i believe was a football player and also gay (in the closet). There is a scene where she makes him feel her chest and says something along the lines of “See ? They’re small like I’m a guy.” I don’t know, probably some Netflix series, but I’ve remembered that one scene for so long and it’s driven me crazy trying to remember what it was from.

[TOMT] Album I Saw at a Record Store

I saw an album that oddly stood out to me at a record store, and I made a mental note to look it up. Of course, now I don’t remember the name of it.

The cover showed (I think) a distraught-looking woman leaned up against a wall with her arms crossed. She was towards the left side of the album cover. Also on the left side of the album cover in pink writing was what looked like the track list, as well as her name. It wasn’t a weird stage name or anything, just her first and last name, and I believe her last name began with an a. I don’t think she’s particularly famous because the name was unfamiliar to me.

It looked like she was in some sort of club bathroom or outside of a building maybe, against a grey, concrete wall, also with some sort of warm pinkish or orange light illuminating her slightly. Sorry if this is vague, the cover art was just cool to me so I’m curious.
