Lowering the risk.

Since we're at a higher risk of developing blood clots, DVT, VTE, and CVI/venous insufficiency, I'm wondering what we can do to help prevent these complications. Is it possible to lower our risk, and if so, what preventative measures are recommended?

Police activity

I'm trying to figure out what happened in my building today.

The last major police response here ended up being an overdose and death investigation, and this situation seemed somewhat similar, but with some differences.

There are 7 police cars, about 5 detectives, and they've been here for over 3 hours. I saw one detective come out carrying evidence bags, and another walked around the entire building taking photos of the front, back, sides, and even the elevator area. The call log lists it as a "medical emergency."

Police also brought a man out of the building, but he was not handcuffed. He has previously had domestic violence issues involving his girlfriend. I haven't seen her, and they're usually together. Someone said police mentioned it was a domestic incident.

My theory is that it could be a death investigation involving the girlfriend and they're waiting for the coroner, but I honestly don't know. I've never seen detectives spend hours at a typical domestic violence call, so the amount of police presence and evidence collection stood out to me.

For anyone with law enforcement or investigative experience, is this consistent with a domestic violence investigation, a death investigation, or could it be either? A lot of residents here are concerned and trying to understand what might be going on.

Herbal content creators

Do any of you run herbalism social media pages?

I recently started a faceless herbal TikTok page and it’s actually doing pretty well for being new, but now I’m overwhelmed trying to figure out what to post next.

For those of you who create herbal content, what topics or herbs would you focus on? Do you stick to educational content, recipes, personal use, remedies, growing herbs, etc.?

I’d also love any tips for staying consistent without burning out or running out of ideas.
