Pool Hours

I went by the pool yesterday around 1pm but it was closed. A Parks worker that I found nearby told me they didn't think it would open for the rest of the day but had no more information than that (I assume there weren't enough life guards but I have no idea).

Is there a way to find out current information on the pool so that we don't have to wander over just to get our hopes dashed?

EDIT: confirmed that someone indeed fouled the pool on Thursday AM, and that the pool website is regularly updated with closures, I just checked too soon, before it was updated :)

Clearing the air after burning some food on the stovetop

We had a close call last night. We forgot some soup boiling on the stovetop and went for a walk, we were gone for about 20 minutes and came back to an apartment full of smoke (but somehow the smoke alarm wasn't triggered, will need to address with my landlord!)

We were able to air out pretty well before bed, but the PM2.5 monitor on my air things will not drop below 17 at the very best, and seems to be fluctuating between that and 30. Not great, but certainly not as bad as it was last night. Even sitting here in my living room typing this, it increased from 20 to 34 in the last few minutes. Why?

I am spending today cleaning - mopping, vacuuming the rug and couch, probably wiping down the walls and surfaces. The apartment is long and narrow, and it's not the best for airflow. We have two coway's running, a couple fans at the windows, and the windows are all open.

What else should I be doing?
