Decided to take the mini Jeep on a hike, found a nice little stream and had no expectation of dumping it in water. This was little Homies full dunk into any kind of water so I was a little nervous picking it up, but as soon as I hit that throttle and it took off, I knew things were good.👍🏽

I was a little intimidated on this build only because of the small size, but once I did I found it wasn’t too bad.. Just really keep an eye on those extra small screws.. I learned a lot by just breaking this thing down. I freakin love these little things. And good luck keeping them stock.🤣

Gonna go springless and see how much of a difference it makes. I already like the way it looks with the tires. And of course with a lack of patience, new shocks will have to be purchased. Any good shock recommendations..
Hands down one of the best on the go crawlers. I had no problem getting it through the airport plus a couple of batteries.. Do it. Let’s see where we can get theses little crawlers. Who can get one to space..
I’m sure there’s others who might know this but it’s new to me.. Only out of excitement.
I finally opened the bag of odds and ends that came with the crawler and noticed, Oh shit there’s extra fenders in there.. And they’re more of a narrow profile too. I did have a slight rub going when its fully flexed. Now with the new fenders that damn near fixes the back and helps a lot in the front..
I was not looking forward to fully cutting the body.. yet.. So I’m glad they included an extra set.
So long story short, if your rubbing and haven’t swapped the fenders over. Give it a shot.

Welcome the the hideaway course. At my local wood spot and found a nice little hideout and decided to start a mini course for who ever comes across it. Came with 2 log chairs,
Started cleaning up some of the brush and moved some stuff around to make a couple trails. It’s a slow process so far but wanting to add rocks in here too.. Thoughts on what to add..
The second picture is for reference but there is a bright green SCX30 somewhere in there.. Can you find him..🤣
Man these crawlers are tiny.. see endless possibilities of losing it.. might need to put a AirTag on his ass.. lol

Starting on the left is the stock tire for reference.

The pins crawl great.. the Maverix mostly for show and scale..
Day after day I told myself.. keep it stock, there’s no need for any type of upgrades whatsoever..🙄 It started with the batteries because that’s a rational decision… But then I saw the rims and that tiny scale size.!! And of course you have to get new tires as well.. Sorry guys..
I know I’ll be chasing that dragon from now on..
Ordered these off Amazon. They just showed up today and not even gonna wait… Headed out to do some research.. I’ll let you guys know how they work out.
2 batteries for $20 was what stood out to me.
Right out the box, they are a bit bigger, they fit in the battery tray but the rubber battery strap is pretty tight..

Highly capable crawlers. I was impressed to say the least that this hardbody RC with no mods could tackle such a rock. You guys weren’t kidding.. 🪨
Cleared out a little patch for the SCX30 to call home. Got enough rocks to start something. Lots more rocks and plants to come. And buildings, I definitely want some scale stuff on the course.
It’s been the longest week ever waiting on this little guy.. Now that the wait is over I gotta say… It was worth it.!! Right out of the box this crawler was taking on rocks twice its size.. Stoked as Hell.!!🙌🏽
