Dhv is such an upgrade

For anybody who's been suffering from negative effects of smoking, dhv is a huge upgrade. The high is not necessarily better or more intense, but it's by far the cleanest high I've experienced. It's hard to explain. It's like hitting a wax pen but...organic. It's a very strange taste and it's completely different from smoking. After 1-2 days of adjusting, it was easy to realize, this is going to be my preferred method going forward. A bong and blunt and joint are still my favorites overall, but for regular use, this is what I'll be using. No more intense burning sensations just to enjoy a high.

Goon Olympics or Squirting Competition?

Hey guys. My wife and I have a dynamic at home where we rotate at home responsibilities every month. And it works for us. The thing is, there's a local Goon Olympics and Squirting Competition this upcoming month. My wife is a professional squirter but lately she's been focusing on her plumbing career and hasn't been able to squirt on her competitors as of late. The thing is, this whole past month I did all the at home chores. Basically we both work full time and so the person who does the chores that month isn't very free after work. And so this month I feel it's fair for me to partake in the local Gooning Competition, which happens to overlap with her squirting competition. The house and dishes won't clean themselves, and I just spent this whole past month doing just that. And I think it's fair for me to partake in the gooning competition (2.8 hour gooning record btw), as the next squirting competition is 3 months from now, which will fall on her month of not doing the at home cleaning. And on top of that, Goon Olympics are every 6 months, so I won't be able to professionally jerk and suppress my load to flex on the haters for a whole 6 months. However, I love my wife and I know how much it means to her to get a record distance squirt to debilitate and humiliate all the other local squirters. Let me know what the best course of action is in this situation.

Should I start pursuing a senior accountant role?

I was recently reached out to for a potential senior accountant position. Currently, I have a bit over 2 years accounting experience. I started with 2 shitty temp positions that were basically data entry, around 3 months each. Then my last job I was a Staff Accountant for around 1 year. And now I just hit a year mark at my current Staff Accountant position.

I’m currently happy with my job. Commute’s around 30 mins, the workload is light to medium, and I’m making $77k, over $15k more than my last job. I wouldn’t mind staying here another 1-2 years. The two biggest downsides are the office culture is basically non-existent, and I’m not doing much of the advanced stuff. If things stay the way they are, I’m basically doing data entry for AP and AR.

What I’m wondering is what’s better for my career growth. Do I risk moving on to a Senior Accountant role and take on more stress and responsibility for a bit higher pay, or do I stay, enjoy a chill position, get another 1-2 years experience, and then move on to a senior role? I have a good understanding of GL’s and how they affect financials and how and why journal entries are posted. But I’m leaning towards staying, because I do get a lot of exposure to what the senior accountants do here, I’m just not doing it myself. But I also think becoming a Senior Accountant before 3 years of experience could look great. Let me know your thoughts.

Ceaseless Discharge is a diabolical name

I played Dark Souls 10 years ago and only now realized what ceaseless discharge sounds like. It makes me exceptionally hungry.

What was your most intense move theater horror experience?

For me I’d have to say Paranormal Activity. I was in middle school when it came out, and I was relatively new to horror, and only FF I watched before was Blair Witch. So when I saw it in theaters, it just felt so real, and I had only recently been introduced to the concept that violent supernatural forces could exist in my own home. I literally was terrified of the dark after watching that. It felt like I took home with me the idea that entities could be around at any moment.

What game series should be revived next?

I think it’s fair to say that the Resident Evil franchise revival is one of the greatest we’ve ever seen. It was arguably marked as dead with the release of RE 6 after a somewhat polarizing RE 5 with the stray away from horror elements. Then, in 2017 the next installment ends of being one of the scariest games ever made with a Texas Chainsaw style setting and an emphasis on terror and helplessness, all while exhibiting some of the best graphics in games at the time. Followed by a great sequel and 2 amazing remakes.

What other series deserves the same treatment? Either in the form of a new game that goes back to the root elements that made the series great, or in the form of remakes that reinvent old games into modern classics.
