Since i cant really put that many questions in the title i decided to make this one post. I keep wondering how the navi take care of themselves. How do they keep the sides of their heads shaved like loak. How to they clip their nails? How do the navi keep their hair so smooth? And do the female navi just bleed freely during their period?
So far we have seen Tsireya ride on an ikran together with loak but i think for now that was the closest we got to them leaving their comfort zone. So now i wonder if the metkayina would be able to live in the forest. Or would they dry out like fishes do? Would the metkayina start to feel sick of they were absent from the ocean for a longer time period? I do wonder because so far we havent seen any metkayina travel around or join the mangkwan. The windtraders and mangkwan always had kind of the same navi species instead of metkayina
I personally would say Clementine since she is actually pretty smart for her age and grows up really fast which is a good character trait. Secondly luke because maybe just maybe i had a little crush on him hehe
And lastly probably Lee because he always tried to be there for everyone,and he did everything to ensure that his one mistake didnt define him
When i heard about Avatar gaining some evil navi characters i was game. In the first leaks varang looked so intimitating with her headpiece,the kuru necklace and those sharp claws. That almost made me shat my pants. And then we got the trailer and i was like ,,mhm alright“
Then i watched the movie and well Varang wasnt as scary as i expected her to be. Instead of beeing a scary cannibal navi who collects other navi‘s kurus she just became quaritchs mate. I thought she would be her own unique character who has a lot of power and new combat techniques. But in the end she was just designed to become quaritchs mate which sucked. And besides some cringe laughs and weak fights we didnt really get anything interesting from Varangs character.
When i saw the first leaks in 2024 i got mad excited because the words evil navi made the whole thing interesting. It felt like we finally got something out of box,and when the event showed us concept arts i was thrilled. I honestly thought that varang would have claws,red eyes and would be a canibal. And that her tribe ate weaker navi to survive the catastrophe. I expected the mangkwan to be unique,scary even partly rotten (since there was one navi with some weird looking face). They seemed to be the scariest navi tribe ever and i thought i would shat myself in the cinema
In the beginning Avatar showed us something we hadnt seen before,unknown planet etc yk the drill. The first movie showed us tragic events and made us question if the main characters would make it out alive. And now avatar is only about war,i mean dont get me wrong obviously they are gonna fight. But we dont get to have calm moments on pandora bc the movie immediantly shows us one action scene after another. And the main characters are always beeing protected because of the plot,same villain all the time. Instead of each movie bringing us closer to pandora we lose the closeness because they keep expanding the action scenes instead of letting us enjoy the new tribes. In afaa we didnt even see varangs backstory which was really lazy production,and we only saw the windtraders for a few seconds before they added another action sequence. Ofc i love the avatar franchise no question but i feel like with each movie the rarity of the franchise got lost just a little more. No more deep dives like in the first movie,just a lot of cut scenes and recycled content :(
So i have seen a lot of people online say that the deep is zoo. And ofc i thought about this for a while and i came to a conclusion. So the deep is technically part fish,since he was gills and i think some fins (correct me if im wrong). And he can also talk to sea animals. So he TECHNICALLY didnt do anything bad to that octopus since he is some kind of fish himself right? Plus the two of them talked about this whole thing and she seemed to be okay with it. Whats your take?
