Car insurance rates- Can I get some input if I should shop for other plans?

I am over 30, have two hatchback cars almost 20 years old, my driven mileage is 8,000miles or greater on the one car(only liability coverage), and the other is listed as 'for pleasure' under 8,000 miles(full coverage on this one).

I just got my yearly quote from the provider at $2,099 which is up from previous years at $1,9xx. IDK this just seems stupid high to me for cars that are almost 20years old, dont get driven, and one doesnt even have claim coverage. I have had no accidents or claims in the past 3 years, and no tickets.

The true way to see why professional sports are stupid is because of the lack of participation.

There is a large group of people that hate on sports people because they think they have some intellectual superiority for simply not liking sports, as if a game that involves physical activity is something that makes you dumber. Those people are generally just trying to be contrarian to come off as intelligent for going against popular media.

BUT, the real legitimized way to hate professional sports in my opinion is based off of who you are talking to and WHY they like professional sports. What I find insufferable about professional mainstream sports is the general acceptance of idle watching a sport being considered a "hobby".

So heres the rough break down you can categorize pro sports watchers into,

  1. The people who play that sport in their free time AND watch pro teams.
  2. Lazy as fuck people who think staring at a TV is a 'hobby'.
Group 2 is the one you should focus on and direct your annoyance and hate towards. Because I have no issue with people who may love to watch pro football-because they go play flag football on weekends or throw with their friends whenever its a nice day outside. That makes sense!

The people watching sports who are losers are the overweight tailgaters at the stadium, who watch football every week on the TV or maybe have season passes to the local team, buying up team merch as if thats supposed to be active participation in the sport. Those guys who could not even do a light jog the full distance of a football field, let alone play a fun game of football with your friends or family. Its WILD that this group of people is the only group of people who fabricate a common agreement where simply watching other people (pros) partake in a sport is supposed to be the hobby itself.

There's no other group of people in recreational activities where spectating the activity is considered a hobby of itself. Nobody calls it a hobby to watch someone go deer hunting, nobody calls it a hobby to watch someone work on cars, nobody calls it a hobby to watch someone shop for clothes. You go hunting, you work on cars, you go shopping. Pro sports is the only damn thing out there that people try call 'watching' as the hobby itself. Its so fucking stupid, if you dont also play that sport you watch, you dont have a hobby, you just have down time staring at a tv. Playing sports video games doesnt count either because that puts you into the gamer category, a whole new list of criteria.
