I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older, it’s surprisingly hard to meet other women through hobbies — especially things like sports or more niche interests.

For me it’s been golf. I love playing, but I rarely find other women my age who also play regularly.

It’s made me realize how few spaces there are that actually help women connect through shared activities instead of just dating apps or generic friend apps.

Does anyone else feel this way with their hobbies?

I’m 27 and got frustrated constantly trying to find women my age to play with locally. Most golf apps/groups feel outdated or mostly focused on men.

I ended up starting to build a women-focused golf social app because I felt like there wasn’t really a modern space for this.

Curious if other people feel the same way or if it’s just me.
