Spooky season makes me feel mushy.

I noticed all of the box sets from Tolkien are on sale on Amazon and I really wanted to get a set for my boyfriend but wasn’t sure which one to get him.
The first one that I went to was his myths and legends but as I am aware that my boyfriend loves everything Lord of the rings and loves Tolkien in general, I don’t know if he would rather a box set from the middle earth lore rather than outside of it.
I guess what I’m asking is if I were to stay inside of middle earth lore, what box set would you recommend?
