Last minute alterations?

Does anyone have a seamstress they’d recommend for a fairly quick turnaround? I just need my dress hemmed and a couple of other minor alterations.

I’m not familiar with any local seamstresses, so I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance! 😊

Need a favour! Amazon delivery mishap

Hi everyone 😅I’m hoping someone local to Campbell River might be able to help us out 🤍

My 68-year-old mom recently ordered gifts off an Amazon registry for her granddaughter (who is 9 months pregnant). Unfortunately, the order was accidentally sent to an address in Campbell River instead of Nanaimo.

We’re located in Manitoba, so we’re not able to check the address ourselves. We’re hoping that maybe someone nearby might be willing to help us locate the packages or possibly make contact at the address they were delivered to.

We completely understand privacy concerns and would approach this respectfully — we’re just trying to recover some baby gifts meant for an expecting mom so close to her due date.

If anyone is willing to help or has suggestions on what we can do next, I would be incredibly grateful. Please feel free to comment or message me directly.

Thank you so much!

Tonight is the first day of my AGA journey 💔.... or it feels that way, anyway.

Recently (F34) diagnosed with AGA. Tonight, i'm starting with topical minoxidil 5% foam as my first step. My plan is to keep things simple for now, remain consistent, see how I respond, and then explore further options like a DHT blocker with my specialist down the line. I do have a healthcare team supporting me through this, and a really supportive boyfriend which helps a lot.

I’d love to hear from other women who’ve been through this:
- Any tips or things you wish you knew when starting?
- Best bedtime routine? I’m applying about an hour before bed right now
- Anything that helped with consistency, shedding phase, or just mentally coping?

Trying to stay positive, proactive and grounded in this, but it’s still a lot to process. Appreciate any advice or experiences you’re willing to share 🤍
