a very, very much needed social media break. I’ll be completely honest - my depression has gotten the best of me these last two months. probably for my lack of traveling so far this year (traveling to new places is my favorite thing to do) & how crappy the weather has been in the TSA.

gentle, gentle reminder: you are not alone. if you are anxious, or stressed, or overwhelmed, or overworked, or hell all 4, you aren’t alone. and it’s okay to take a step back from things in order to take care of yourself - whether that be being active on social media, being extremely hard on yourself with it comes to your diet/gym routine, or simply not feeling guilty for taking a PTO day (if you have it) to YOURSELF, if you can.

I’ve recently stopped consuming alcohol - not something I want or feel the need to stop forever, but I noticed that after I would have a drink or two, the next day my depression and anxiety would be even worse - so for the month of July and however long I want to go for, I’ve taken alcohol out of my weekend festivities and I’ve noticed SUCH. A. DIFFERENCE. in my mood, my productivity during the week, my energy, etc. (I am eyeing your Aperol spritz though if you order one)

what’s something you’re proud of yourself for, recently?

anyways, I’ve been loving ocean wave (a little too much) and I own more than 10 pieces lol. I WANT TO GIVE MYSELF CREDIT THO THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN LAST WEEK and I’m a lot tanner than I was in these pictures 😂😭

I stalked this sub and found a post made 21-22 days ago asking this same question - so here I am, asking again LOL - was this top EVER RELEASED?!

I may have just missed it. it’s so cute - I’m sure it would sell out quickly. I just purchased the skirt last night & im wondering if I should be keeping an eye out for this top or not!

morning ootd, at least! it’s going to be way too warm to continue wearing this into the afternoon here 😂 woke up to low 60s & needed to run some car errands (a grocery pickup because this weekend was just too busy to do it myself, & coffee pickup of course). my foot looks weird because I rolled down my sock half way (it’s black) because I didn’t like how it looked with the sweats 😭

I got this steady state crewneck at the outlets, the only one on the rack - it’s an XXS which is just a TAD too snug for how I like my crewnecks fitting - but it was $59 & in my wishlist, I couldn’t pass up the price.

oh! & I did an exchange on that citrus sizzle set (rip 🥲) for a full pink pearl set FINALLY, here’s to hoping the align shorts go on markdown soon so I could get an adjustment!

happy monday! my Mondays have and always will be dedicated to leg days - gotta start the week off with a gooooood workout.

I paired matcha magic with citra lime and ended up LOVING IT! tank came off pretty early (see mention of leg day above) but these two colors together were so fun!

btw - I know the power pivot training tanks are no longer being made - but I see them pop up on WMTM here and there and I’ve seen them at the outlets before. if you’re ever able to get your hands on one, I would 10000% recommend it - it’s one of my favorite style tank tops for working out/athleisure in the summer.

I will always love wearing bone on top of bone - it’s so sleek and clean looking. you could achieve a similar look with light ivory too! I actually prefer light ivory over bone just a TINY BIT!

now to the sad disappointment - citrus sizzle tone + me. unfortunately it’s a no for me! if I am being honest, I don’t think I have ever tried on anything THIS ORANGE before, so seeing it against my skin tone with the full set on I almost went :OOOO

in my opinion, the color does nothing for me…at all. it’s not the right color for my skin tone - and it was an immediate return lol. sometimes, colors just don’t work out and that’s okay! got my $$ back for a color that’ll work better 🫡

I’m traveling a ton this summer and figured I’d pick up my favorite products but in travel sized! I’ve actually taken my glazing milk in a travel bottle I got in a target set before, and it worked GREAT! but I couldn’t figure out how I’d travel with the serum lol, so I went to Sephora today to grab some travels.

QUESTION: I got the bonus +500 points at Sephora from my haul today (I split my purchase up into two actually, one online pickup and one in store - I got +1,000 this way, plus +100 for buying a moisturizer) so I’m thinking about buying the glazing spray. DO I NEED IT? I could get her for $20 with my points (I don’t think I could stack them, unless I can, which would be GREAT)

ok ok, so do you all remember when there was that phase on YouTube where all of the makeup influencers would do a “what’s in my purse” or “what’s in my work/school bag”? I was absolutely obsessed with those videos (even as an 8-9 year old girl who didn’t need a purse yet LOL)

my mother always said to never look through another woman’s purse (without approval), but today we are diving into mine :)

I got this bag at my outlets a few months ago now, and I have been using it since. I use it to go into the office, when I’m going to long hair appointments/working appointments, I’ve even taken this bag for overnight travel before. it’s very spacious, and it doesn’t kill my shoulder to carry even when it’s pretty full/heavy.

what’s in this thing:

- work laptop + laptop charger

- portable charger + extra USBC charging cable, I typically also carry another apple charger, but not pictured

- pens/highlighters/apple airpod cleaner (a must)

- main necessities that I carry everywhere: wallet, miniature hair brush, sunnies, hydroflask or any sort of water bottle, & my car keys & AirPods (lululemon collective membership lanyard 🫡)

- smiley face pouch: actually carries most of what is in this picture, LOL! could not fit all the items close together though. in this bag is: dental floss, q-tips, 2 things of lotion because I cannot go without, hand sanny, eye drops, few lip products, travel perfume, wrinkle spray remover (trust me), tamps, deo (& it’s spray so if you stank I gotchu no excuses), & hair clips and bows

- miniature medicine cabinet I call it: holds all youd need in a crunch, + my daily meds if I need to take them with me

- snacks: usually there are a lot more than this LOL, but I ate em all!

- gym clothes: this is sometimes, if I am planning to go straight to the gym from work or wherever I am going! I absolutely L O V E the mesh pocket that is in the middle of this bag, it is the PERFECT place to put em (not sure if that’s its purpose but it works for me)

and that’s it! not pictured are a few personal items ofc, but if you are looking for a bag that carries a lot, I’d highly highly recommend this one!

I went and helped out my mom today with her yard sale - I had so much fun! it was actually a pretty big turnout and I was able to get rid of some stuff that was catching dust in my apartment.

*weird comments will be deleted and you will be banned* I am trying “cameltoe” underwear for the first time ever today. I noticed that the fabric of these dusk leggings is a lot thinner than my other aligns (anyone else?) and yeah, I didn’t have much luck covering the toe. I ordered a pair of thongs that has some padding included, and tbh, it’s KIND OF WEIRD and a LITTLE noticeable in certain positions, but I don’t care, it’s not noticeable enough and WHY YOU LOOKIN THERE ANYWAY

anyways, I think it’s the pair I got, it’s too wide for me, but works for today and for what I got it for. please note, that not having my frontal region showing like that is complete personal preference - if you guys struggle with same issue, for sure look up some different options, I got mine from Amazon!

I’m not a pattern kind of person, but I loved the smoothie pattern that they released this spring. I really, really wish that they had released strawberry smoothie leggings or shorts.

I became a huge “hold tight” line gal this year, I loved when these tanks were released in these neutral patterns, instant buy for me once it hit WMTM.

I honestly don’t think I’d buy anything from this line if it WASNT on markdown - I mean, I love it, don’t get me wrong - but it is pricey for what you’re getting. most of my hold tight items were purchased at the outlets (like this one), they do tend to pill/shed, but not by much if you take care of them while washing. I never dry them. & they remain super soft.

when I realized how close aero blue is to ocean blue, I was so so excited! I don’t have any bras/tanks *yet* in ocean wave, this was a perfect pairing, if anyone is curious!

I love these new trim shorts - they are so cute, and SO SOFT! softer than my other align shorts, anyone else notice this? I got them right before they went on markdown, and thankfully, lululemon gave me a price adjustment 🥹💙

I also got this tank from Australia - it is not available in the US unfortunately :( but with the newer style tanks that look similar to this, I feel like we may start getting styles like this again more frequently!

I was so so excited when these released, I instantly snagged! I originally got the matching crewneck (candy cloud) first, and was debating on the joggers, since the summer is coming up - I’ll be wearing joggers a lot less. then the shorts came - I was a very happy girl!

these are INCREDIBLE! they are, in my opinion, very thick and very good quality. these DO run larger, I am normally a size small in my shorts, but I range from a XXS/XS in joggers/sweatpants - these both are in the size XS, and I could easily fit in an XXS if I had to, comfortably. I prefer the baggier feel and look. for sure size down (if you could get your hands on a pair!)
