I try to paste in interesting decks from moxfield, usually it’ll say something like 64/40 which doesn’t make sense since the total for friendly brawl should be 100 not 40. Then I’m missing a bunch of the cards and I don’t have enough wildcards to craft them. Says I’m 9 rares short. Worse, I don’t even know which 9 they are. So then I get stuck. I play on iPad.
Just listened to the beauty of “come as you are” , and when I dug in deeper, I found that it’s not even on any of their albums!! Which is probably why I missed it. Wow TT just has so many great songs, if you only listen to their top streamed songs or the ones they play at concerts, you’re missing out !!

I got 6 packs for doing the physical prerelease. Then a few more free packs in email when the set came out. Then I’ve just been playing jump in using gold that I got from dailies, then I also played two of the “pick 2” drafts , also paying in gold from dailies. One I won 3 and the other 4 so now I have a couple thousand gems which I’ll use to play more draft. I want to see how much of the set I can get without paying at all! My ultimate goal is to play a fun brawl deck with marvel theme!
Got my cards today and played a few rounds with a friend. She never liked magic but I think she liked this better because it’s easier to understand and quicker. And she won one of the games. So if the intended audience is more lay people, mission accomplished.
The two decks I got were really hard to open. Magic booster packs you can open with your hands. This, the plastic is wrapped so tightly that I slightly damaged one of the cards trying to force it open. I recommend carefully using a sharp knife but it would have been nicer if they packaged it with a hanging chad to tear with.
The gameplay reminds me more of Gwent than magic. For those that don’t know, Gwent was a CCG mini game included with the video game Witcher 3. Then they released a digital version as its own standalone video game. I used to play it a lot against other players online with my iPad. Mood swings is similar because in both games, you play cards that have numbers on them and the highest total number wins the round. Gwent is best of 3 , whereas mood swings is whoever reaches 3 first. In both games, you might choose to forfeit a round and strategically pass. Both games rely heavily on combos and card order.
I beat the hollow knight. Fun fight :) reminds me of bullfighting. Respond and quickly!
Anyway so now I’ve completed the game with 73% after 58 hours (I know, I’m slow). I got 30 out of 40 charms and 8 out of 9 masks. I’ve heard if I grind some more I can get a better ending. Is it worth it at this point ? I kinda feel like after 58 hours it might be time to move on but also don’t wanna have FOMO either. How worth it is the post game content ? Do most of you stop here ?
I guess I’m mostly new to Lego games, but …… the hardest difficulty only limits your lives in missions ?? Unlimited lives fighting crime in the open world? I like a challenge to encourage me to get better and use all my abilities and strategy etc …. Otherwise it’s just button mashing till you win …..
