My power on my well pro rattler is sitting very consitant at 0.65 joules. Im using a very powerful 11.1 lipo. Ive swapped bucking out for a maple leaf yellow. What's the best option for possibly increasing power and reliability?
So i finally got a hold of a mag catch for the tm type 89 aeg. I took out my temporary 3d printed one and put the new one in. And upon putting a mag in the mag catch snapped as seem in the picture. The same way the one that was originally in the gun. Ive looked into it and the only reasons I can find to do with this is on about warped and damaged bodies. My type 89 is perfectly fine. Am i putting the catch in wrong? Am I tightening it in too much? I dont know. As far as I can tell the mag catch goes in like any regular old m4 type rifle. Maybe the spring in the mag catch is too strong? I dont know and I cant get a replacement for this part from fire support so ive ordered another one (which is far enough on their part) does anyone know if im doing something wrong?
Ive recently acquired a tm famas super version from all the way back in 1993 and it is practically brand new, bought it boxed but due to the fact that the box has a big picture of the gun on it, I thought it would be best to put the gun and all the bits into my gun bag and throw the box away before getting on a train, its been test fired by me a couple times and I chronoed it at 0.7 joules on a .25. I still have all the bits in the box like the manual, 2 large to mini tamiya adapters, mag loader and un jamming rod. I even have the bbs that came with it still, the gun itself is pristine, no scratches or anything. what could I realistically get for it?
Turns out the f2k i believed was a g and g is actually a jls and the gearbox is definitely gone, any other owners had to swap the gearbox out or anyone know if the g and g gearbox or a p90 gearbox wpuld fit into it?
So i took some advice and opened up the boneyard f2000, the gearbox is well and truly fucked, the peice that holds int tappet plate spring to the gearbox has snapped and its also missing the front part of the gearbox that holds the cylinder in place. Definitely needs a new gearbox or gearbox casing, does anyone know where to buy a replacement gearbox that looks like the one in the image?
Picked up a boneyard g and g f2000 from midlands airsoft festival today and I only paid 40 quid for it, the motor cycles but it sounds weak and isnt contacting gears by the sounds of it. It also smells like metal when cycling the motor, does anyone know any decent, quick and cheapish techs who would fix it or does anyone know of any things I can do myself to fix it?
I have a tm type 89 and fitting a battery into the handgaurd is a pain in the arse. Does anyone know of any decent and fast techs that will move the battery to the stock instead of the handgaurd so I can fit a bigger battery and it be less of a ball ache. If it cant be wired to deans ill use tamiya but id rather deans.
Just licked up a tm type 89 aeg and the mag catch has broken off, i have the button and spring still just no actual bit to hold the mag in and nowhere in the uk or outside of it has them in stock wondering if theres a fule available for one
