I suppose this deserves an existential warning because I know the future can be a big fear point for you so with that said id your unsettled by the question feel free to stop early.

I've heard just about every ENTJ talk refer to their future at least once as if it where an impending catastrophe which, if not prepared for, will sneak up on you and render you useless, hollow, and without the ability support yourself unless you act on it NOW.

I agree with the concept and its premise. I know for those who haven't reached it yet you might not know what you'll do when you finally reach the end but feel free to answer what you can all the same.

For those that have however, what is it like for you? Are you just as efficient and effective? What drives you now, if anything? What are you planning or what have you planned?

Alright so to cut a long story short my friends and I speak in non-linear ways often (there all high in Ne so the bouncing makes sense to our brains). Topics move from food to video games to a random subsequent work hobby and all culminate back into the same food related event again without losing pace (If it doesn'tmake sense to you I think your following well thus far).

Sometimes past events will be mentioned in the context of some of these conversations and my ENTJ friend, who doesn't often get the bouncing thing well, will ask for an explanation, normally when he or an event he was part of is mentioned in passing.

Normally when asked about something I default to explaining in ALOT of general abstraction, usually accompaniedby metaphor and similie. Comparing it to a series of circumstances, scenerios or ideas I can share with the other person that I think they have encountered with a brief explanation of why I believe it applies to them. This is normally enough for most people to catch what I mean, the grasp the concept or relate to the theory even if they didn't think or act like that from their perspective at all.

As I've grown older I've learned, obviously, you can't do this all the time. People need you to slow down and explain the reasoning and thoughts behind it. Sometimes people need to see very clear explanations or be given practical examples that have a stack in the real world. Other times they need you to be even more abstract and explain how you'd apply rationality and logic to the complaint with no example while others still just want to know whats wrong and how they need to fix it, nothing more nothing less.

When I'm being asked by him I've no clue how to answer him in a way that he understands. I think this might be me applying a very Si way of thinking and sorting to the conversation when their Si blind?

To better summarize. I think my need to use pass events or abstracted ideas to draw relation to present problems or jokes is making it hard for them to understand what I'm trying to say. They don't understand and when I ask which portion they kinda default to all of it which makes me adjust. Every method I try doesn't really hit home even as we take our time.
