Hello r/weather, i'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but i have been noticing a phenomena in my town over the last few years and I finally got the itch to ask about it. I live in the Gulf Shores AL area, and i have noticed that during the summers we tend to get south-moving storms intermixed with the usual ones coming from the west or up from the gulf. While I haven't been diligently recording each one, i have noticed that these southward storms are significantly stronger than any others (WAYY more lightning, and the only time we ever get hail is with these systems). As i understand it, storms really like tracking north-east, so why does my area see so many of these rogue storms? and why are they so packed full of energy?

I had this dream where i found a whole litter of very young kittens. They were malnourished and i was ill-prepared to take care of them but i did my best to. One of the kittens, the only white kitten, began to act lethargic and was throwing up. I felt extremely scared, and like i was already grieving this kitten. I begged the people around me to let me take it to a vet but no one seemed to care. I tried to go anyway. This is where the dream starts falling apart, but i take the kitten with me into my car, and for some reason i had to stop at a store and get something so i left the kitten in my car, though i was worried about it. When i come out of the store there are two obnoxious content creators playing with the kitten and being very rough with it. I remember screaming at them to stop and that i would call the police. i was trying to do anything possible to protect the kitten's life. Eventually they do stop but that feeling of grief is so much worse. The kitten is even colder now and more lethargic. It is also suddenly extremely late at night and i wasn't even sure the vet was open. The last little fragment of the dream that i got was that i picked up a bloody woman off the side of the road and i got in a minor car crash. I was still trying to get to the vet.

When i woke up i felt that clawing grief in my chest and i cannot seem to shake it. I want to know what this dream means since it is sticking with me so much.

I'm starting a new campaign soon, and i have built a Shadar-kai Ghostslayer at level 5 that i'm pretty excited to see in action, but i have been debating what i should do for levels since this character comes with extra attack pre-installed. I was considering going Psi Warrior for a Elemer of the Briar kinda thing but i don't think it would work out rp-wise. So i have since settled on doing at LEAST a 2 level dip into War Magic Wizard for those benefits.
I like the idea of being able to do both close range melee and long range spell-slinging when called for.

My question is, would it be wise to do even more levels in War Magic beyond the 2 dip? as it stands i have a dex of 19 and an int of 18 so i'm not hurting for either. I think i could really go either way, but i'd like to know if there is an optimal thing to do, or perhaps even another multiclass that would work well.

Hello, i'm looking for someone to take over a lease for a full year, beginning August 14th 2026 at The Quarters (formerly The Beacon). Rent is $650 per month, and any fees for the sublet will be paid by me. Utilities are very cheap, and the unit is on the ground floor at the front of the property with easy bus access. The room has its own bathroom and large walk-in closet, and the common area is furnished with a nice kitchen and washer/dryer. One of the roommates i know will be there is very cleanly and responsible, the other room is unoccupied currently. The room is very accessible for those who need that. As stated in the title, i'm looking for someone to take over my lease at The Quarters starting August 14th. It is a full year lease with rent at $650/month which is cheaper than the standard rate for a 3 person unit at The Quarters. The unit is a first floor apartment right at the front of the property where the busses pick people up, and there is plenty of parking right outside the door.
