I'm u/franktortuga, moderator of r/latics . I took over this dead subreddit 8 years ago and I want to continue to build up the subreddit and discussion happening. I can't do it alone and I need your help! I will continue to post major news stories, game threads, match highlight videos, as well as other creative pieces. I want to do more with this sub and keep engagement high. I will post a weekly Latics discussion once the 2026/27 season begins.

Over the past few seasons, I've seen the r/LeagueOne page grow, and with that it seems a fair amount of Wigan Athletic discussion happens there, due to a bigger audience, often leaving the chatter quiet over here! I want to bring more conversations to this subreddit.

What to Post
Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, or questions about Wigan Athletic.

What is NOT Allowed to be Posted

1. Spam/self promotion

2. Direct shit post/troll of Wigan Athletic

3. Anything related to any other team (one in particular) not Wigan, find the appropriate subreddit

4. Not relevant to Wigan Athletic in any matter (mod discretion)
