Hello! I’m from New Mexico but haven’t spent any time in Alamogordo. My partner and I are visiting the area (couple days in Albuquerque, ToC, and then Alamogordo). What food/events does he have to see? He’s from the Bahamas so never even remotely been to a place like New Mexico.
We are planning white sands and probably a stop in Hatch.
I am starting a huge project using Artiste size 10 crochet thread; basically a massive tapestry using C2C crochet. I've been a little disappointed with the colors they have available and so ended up spending too much on stuff I didn't really need.
So all that to say, I have a ton of different whiteish yarns (eggnog, natural, ivory) and have decided to dye them. I did my first "experiment" last night and feel like it came out really good! I am super excited to customize my project even further by dying my yarn exactly how I want it.
