I love Star Trek Strange New Worlds but old Star Trek was better for one main reason

The main reason old Star Trek was better was because they had like 25+ episodes per season. Now it's only 10. That's crap. Just as the season gets started it's over. And then you gotta wait a long time for another season.

Why not build data centers next to dams

Okay I live in Washington. We have tons of hydroelectric dams. They are wanting to build a dam next to Spokane Wa. Why not build the data center next to the hydroelectric dams. There's water and electricity right there.

Okay today is my day one again

Have any of you done virtual AA meetings? I'm thinking about giving them a try. Also this time I'll seek out a sponsor. Can I do that virtually? The last two times I was sober I got some 1.5 years and this last time it was only 10 months. I've only been drinking again for about a month and I want to catch myself below it gets too far. I also really want to focus on building my life to a place where I want to be. Especially with my health. On Friday I turn 44 and I want to get much healthier. Last July I got sober the day before my birthday. And I tell you my addiction eventually went from alcohol to sugar, candy, and ice cream and other high carb food like pasta. This time I get sober I have to give up the sugar and the alcohol because I know they are linked for me. Pray for me.

Life keeps kicking me in the peanuts, but God may have just opened a door for me

Man so it feels like I get so close to achieving so many huge dreams but circumstances get in the way. It's like as soon as I get ahead I get knocked down. My biggest achievement was earning my MBA. I did this while working 60 hours a week at a truck driver and later as a driver manager. I have but my step son who has major disabilities and he gets very ill very often. During one of his last visits to the hospital they made a huge mistake and it caused part of his lungs to die. So for the last two years we were almost homeless twice but thanks to God and strangers we were provided nice and comfortable housing. And thank you tax payers for the food stamps. I tell you nothing attacks your man hood like knowing you cannot provide a home or food for your family. While staying in a Ronald McDonald House at my son's last hospital stay we decided to move to that city Spokane WA. After moving here. I have had job after job thrown at me. And yesterday I accepted a position as a fleet manager at a large trucking company in the area. These last few years have been the hardest I've ever gone through.. And trust me I'm no saint I've thought about just getting a divorce multiple times just so I could have an easier life, but that didn't happen. Sometimes it feels like God pushes you until you break and then when you do he picks you up again. Anyways I'm on day zero and thinking about going back to day one. Thanks for listening to my ramble. I haven't found a group that I like in this area yet but I'll keep looking. I do not like groups that focus on the problem. I like groups that focus on the solution and building networks of friends.

Hello all I'm just now getting into the insurance world. I want to do PC to start with then expand in the future but I got questions.

My first question is that it says that I must have a business open to the public. However, I want to run my business out of my home garage. I do not want the expense of an expensive office in the beginning. Can I just put a sight on my home. What have you done to make this legal?

Second question. What's the best way to handle charge backs. Do you just put the majority of your income in an account until it's clear from being charged back?

I want to create a small business with just me and maybe my wife later on. I would like to be an independent broker and sell different companies so I can give my customers choices.

Thanks for any help. I was a truck driver but because of a neurological issue I'm forced to pivot careers. That's another reason I want to work from home.

WGU Grad New to Spokane WA looking for a job.

Hello everyone, I'm Brandon. My family relocated to Spokane to be closer to the great healthcare systems for my son with special needs. I am a WGU graduate with a bachelor's in business management and an MBA. Most of my experience is in transportation management but I'm willing to learn other roles and work my way up from the bottom. I'm not afraid to work.

I mostly left Facebook and searching for another

I found reddit a few months ago and I see that it is full of good information for jobs, entrepreneurship and a bunch of other topics I find interesting. I always like ideas on leveling up.. I still like surfing the Internet when I get bored but I like controlling the topics I search. Does this karma thing help keep spamming to a minimum? I can't post or comment in most places
