Looking for very specific friends (info in the post)

I will try to make this as detailed as possible in order to address the exact person/people I’m trying to befriend here.

So a little bit about me: I’m a 26 year old student currently studying at HU. I’m very extroverted, talkative, spontaneous, and passionate about many things in life. I enjoy biking and working with my hands (I fix bikes as a volunteer), I like learning languages and discovering new bars. I enjoy just constantly finding new things to be excited about. I’m definitely someone who thrives on having a full week and being around people. Spending two days in a row inside gaming or doing nothing usually makes me lose my mind, even though I obviously still enjoy chilling sometimes too.

I love listening to music and watching movies from countries I’ve never been to and in languages I don’t understand, with the hope that they might motivate me to learn the language or visit the country. It’s a sort of cultural curiosity.

I also care a lot about mental health and emotional openness. I try not to suppress emotions or act emotionally detached all the time, and I naturally get along better with people who are similar in that way.

What I’m looking for is a friend who can match my energy, since I feel like I’m a bit too extroverted for most of the people I know. I enjoy going to bars, clubs, or whatever and getting into conversations with random people, and I’d love to have a friend who would be comfortable engaging with that and wouldn’t be held back by social anxiety. I’d love to meet someone curious and spontaneous who would enjoy discovering new places with me and isn’t a creature of habit.

It would be cool if your personality doesn’t just revolve around drugs or alcohol, but a beer or a joint here or there is never a bad thing ;) My dream friendship is honestly very simple. I want someone I can text “beer?” or “ice cream?” and the answer is usually yes. I’m almost always the person saying yes to plans unless money is the problem.

It would be super cool if you’re around my age and maybe also in a financial situation that isn’t too far off from being a student too, since I feel like I won’t be able to keep up with someone who spends a lot of money. Being someone who would be open to biking and speaks German would be really cool too (not a must, but it would help with integrating you with my other German-speaking friends).

Biggest bonus: if you speak Portuguese. I’m currently learning the language.

Your gender or sexuality doesn’t matter to me at all as long as we get along. Racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. obviously have no place here.

If you feel like this post resonates with you and you think we would be good friends, then send me a message! Introduce yourself and tell me about you :)

A friend sent me this photo and I'm trying to determine what tools I'd need to remove the crank set. Any idea?

Advice for finding a minijob?

Hey everyone,

I’m a student in my mid 20s living in Berlin, and honestly surviving on Bafög here is getting really tough. I’ve been trying hard to find a Minijob, but no matter how many applications I send out, I just can’t seem to land one. It’s starting to get pretty stressful since my bills are piling up and I really need an income soon.

Does anyone have tips, advice, or recommendations for agencies/services that help with finding something? Any leads would really mean a lot.

Oh yeah, I speak fluent German.
