I think everyone hates me after social situations

This has become such a big issue for me I honestly can’t tell if this is true or just my brain convincing me of this.

On paper I have no issue making friends and I am generally a very out going person. During social situations I will be having such a fun time but after hanging out with anyone (new friends or long time friends) I have horrible anxiety and feel deeply that everyone hates me and that i’m annoying. It causes me such deep distress. In the moment talking to people feels fun but when it’s over I think about everthing I said and how everyone must hate me so much because i’m so annoying. it makes me never want to talk to anyone ever again. Has anyone else experienced this?

I need help understanding how I’m supposed to eat now that I work out 3-5 days a week

Hi everyone!

A little context about my lifting journey, I am 24F, about 5’3.5” and weigh somewhere between 130-135 pounds. I am hypermobile and have sever joint pain that I’ve been going to PT for about a year for (we found that strength training really helps) sooo for about 4 weeks exactly now I have been lifting for about an hour plus doing 20 mins of the elliptical every week day that I can (3-5 days a week). I am really enjoying it and actually am very excited to start seeing some results!

Right now I switch off every day between upper body and lower body and include a little core every day. I feel good about my form for all the exercises I do but I have NO idea how I am supposed to be feeding myself. I would guess before I started working out I would eat about 1800 cals a day (i already eat very healthy and get plenty of protein for someone not working out) but I’m not sure if I’m supposed to increase calorie intake along with protein intake. My goal with working out isn’t to lose weight, it really is to build strength and have a better quality of life since my joint pain is chronic. I wouldn’t necessarily mind losing weight but I want a booty lmaooooo. Any advice on how to calculate this?

My Sourdough Recipe/Steps (for beginners in need of some guidance)

Hello all!

Not too long ago I was posting on this subreddit asking for help with my failing sourdough starter. You all helped me so much so to return the favor to any new bakers in here who are feeling lost I have attached the recipe and steps that I use! I didn’t come up with this in my own, this comes from a collection of guidance I got from youtube or this subreddit. Feel free to ask any clarifying questions! Hopefully my handwriting is legible lol

What to do when you finally figure out your parents’ marriage is not happy

I (24F) am visiting my parents for the weekend and I am feeling so many things. For context, my mom is the most wonderful loving person in the world. She would and does do anything for my brothers and I. She has done such an incredible job raising us, so much so that I think she successful shielded me and my siblings from just how awful my dad is to her and everyone else.

My dad has always been emotionally distant so I guess I never had much of a relationship with him, but now that my brothers and I are older he has no issue verbally abusing my mother in front of us. It is actually so infuriating to witness. He yells at her, calls her stupid, gets mad at her when she wants to visit her parents/doesn’t clean right/literally is just existing. He also makes so much money but will get mad at my mom for spending any money and made her get a part time job that she hates even though this is absolutely unnecessary.

Honestly I don’t know what to do. I don’t mean to sound selfish but it’s very hard for me to come to terms with this myself because it’s my parents you know. My mom has been starting insinuate she’s unhappy with how her life went and it’s breaking my heart. I want to help her but accepting that my parents are unhappily married is like gut wrenching to me. I carry so much guilt because of this. I don’t know how I’m supposed to fix this. I can’t believe I didn’t know for so long that she was so miserable.

Anyway, does anyone have a similar family situation? Or have any advice for how to cope with this lmaooo
