I'll be honest, in school I didnt make any connections, I was a "Cs get degrees" kind of person, and largely only went to school and did no internships or any out-of-school activities. It took me a long time to get my degree which IM STILL WAITING FOR

The only relevant experience I have in Geology was some field camps I did in 2024 that lasted ~2 months, which I feel wont help me on my job quest now. All my recent jobs were random warehouse and customer services jobs, mostly because I needed some kind of income to pay rent.

I feel a bit lost or trapped in a corner because the only jobs I think I can get are field tech jobs which is okay with me, but most of them in my area want a clean 5 year driving record (I had an accident I was cited at fault for in 2024). Also my experience is VASTLY lacking for someone who just graduated. I live in the Tampa region - is there any entry level places I could get in to start my career off or did I mess up the rest of my life? I know I'm way too late and too old to be asking this, but I feel like I'm giving up on myself tbh. Like I didn't do things right the first time, so now I have no right to try because I didn't apply myself while at university.

I need a new phone and need some help choosing which phone would be the best in the terms of longevity. I feel like both phones are okay price-wise because I can get the S23+ for $300+ and the Nothing 4a Pro for $400+. I just wanted to know if the Nothing phone is worth trying out (life-long Samsung user here 👋) or to stick to Samsung. If this helps: I'm not the type of person to upgrade every year, I like to stick to one phone until it stops working.

This is just a warning post to anyone that might buy a 2nd hand phone. This business Re-Cell, LLC sells phones on various marketplaces Amazon, back market, Walmart, etc. They sell locked and (allegedly) blacklisted/stolen phones as unlocked ones. I bought a phone via Amazon and after 6 months of having it, its now a brick. They (Re-Cell) said they cannot help because now is outside their guarantee period; they only advise me to buy services from a 3rd party unlocking service. However, I notice that my situation is not an unique one: I looked at reviews from Walmart, BBB, Back Market, and Amazon and a notable amount of customers are in the same boat as me. Some said that they received phones that were blacklisted (allegedly) and they couldn't use it at all. I just want other 2nd hand buyers to have at least one major warning about this business, so you do not waste your money or time on this business.

*Additional information: I believe that this business specifically runs out of Colorado USA
