How would you fish this?
North Wales, UK 🏴
Fish constantly rising to feed on the surface, however stay low when raining.

Hi guys! I’m a bit of a noob to pike fishing (and fishing in general lol). I usually go for perch and trout, but wanted to try some pike when I go back home. Is this gear appropriate/ am i missing stuff? I couldnt find any fluoro leader at the local tackle shop but I have 15lb mono line if that would work as a sub. Is this stuff a little light for pike or will I be ok?
3000 reel
25g cast weight 8ft telescopic
15lb, 0.16mm braid line
Wire snap leaders
And those hard lures, They range from 20-21g.
Thanks for any info you guys can give. Excited to try catch my first!

Hi all! I’m in the uk looking to catch my first brown trout. I’ve caught other fish but only on flies, and havent had much luck on spinners. I have a snap swivel on for my other lures with no swivel/ to attach a bubble to, which i tie a leader from the snap/bubble to the lure. If I attach my spinner directly to the snap will it mess up my chances and become too bulky? Any advice for trout will be most grateful! I have a variety of lures so anything else you guys recommend that works i will try
Seems to have a sunken centre, probably got it whilst in the woods. Doubtful of ticks as I had long trousers on and have not seen one on my leg at all. Could it be a midge bite or something? I am in Wales UK thanks for any help.
