I broke my left tibial plateau and am non weight bearing/cannot bend or move my knee for the next 8 weeks. I am a freelance nail artist and bartend every once in a blue moon, and can't sit to do my work or stand to do so. Lowkey in a complete financial rut because of this, bills are piling and cannot seem to get any help from resources, qualify for any, or find any way to generate income. Anyone have any advice on some ways to make money during an injury?

My 2 week follow up x ray after the injury came up nondisplaced, so thankfully we're going forward with non operative treatment. I have a T scope brace on for the next 4 weeks. depending on how X-rays look on that 4 week mark, we're hoping I can start partial weight bearing. I'm thankful that the pain is manageable, but the mental and emotional side effects have been brutal. I'm looking forward to being able to carry a plate again and shower normally lol.
Was wondering if anyone else here who has had the same injury had any experiences to share

I was leaving Kroger walking through the parking lot and a white drone with no markings randomly flew over me and down onto me. Walked away from it and it came toward me and turned the camera on me. We drove away and it was still in the parking lot, but this was still super weird lol. Wondering if this is a security protocol or something? This was at Mount Washington Kroger at like 9:50 am.
