So after a long couple weeks I’m finally finishing up with some work I did on the motor. Took way too long with other responsibilities getting in the way. Some new goodies:

OPG and CS

FP gen 2 timing kit

New solenoids

FP water pump

Alternator

Lash adjusters and followers

Mishimoto radiator and 170 thermostat

GT 500 valve covers

Battery

Trans fluid

Oil change

Tensioner and other idler pulley

ATI super damper and new belts

VMP degas bottle

FFRE kinetic crank stud

So as I was tightening the first bolt connecting the pickup tube to the bottom of the oil pump gear housing…. I dropped my 10mm combo wrench into the oil pan. I tried to use a flexible magnet that I had but it was pretty weak. I ordered a stronger one but I am not hopeful. I’ve been told I can take the bolts out of the oil pan and get it separated enough to get my hand in there to get it out. I don’t want to raise the motor or lower the k member, but I guess I’ll do whatever I have too haha.
