Thinking of where to apply this fall.

So I have been wondering where to apply for a PhD program. I am wanting to go to a university with a strong focus in plastics. I was looking at Ohio state university, Case Western, University of Akron, Carnegie Mellon University, and Penn state university.

The problem is I didn't do so great in college, I had a 2.75 GPA, but I did attend a REU, was sent to the national ACS conference that I presented at. I have six chemistry publications, multiple first authors, a featured perspective, publication of the month, and one patent. I have over 150 citations. I've also taught 7 students ranging from high school students to PhD candidates, I even led a summer program for the Welch summer scholars.

If anyone has a suggestion of plastics focused PhD programs that don't require a high GPA requirement i would greatly appreciate it. And if you have a recommendation for a subreddit to submit this to, to get a better response I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Have two interviews on Friday

I have interviews at an outfitters store and McDonald's store, both are entry level managerial jobs.

I have some experience as a departmental manager at Walmart. I also have experience mentoring six students ranging from high school to PhD candidates in chemistry. With getting 6 publications and 1 patent while mentoring those students.
