I'm a college student, currently in kanpur and I want recommendations for places to eat under a budget, I can eat almost any kind of food and am open to veg and non veg both options, preferably around or near nawabganj should be good but I can travel to other places too if the fare isn't too much, please drop your best recommendations and if the place is far also the best way to reach there cheaply.
If you guys have any proofs regarding any of the stuff that is happening to you be it online or offline, dm me with any proof that you have, any screenshot video, audio, names of students or numbers, that did anything to you, a formal complaint has to be issued against them, we need everything we can, so if you have anything be my guest, agar nahi mante hain seniors toh unko bhi dekhne do what can be done if we all stick with each other, don't fear anyone it's a matter of your dignity as a human being, khud ko ek insaan samjhte ho and gali ke kutte ki tarah treat nahi hone dena chahte ho toh come forward with any proofs that you have, don't let yourself be their puppet you are your own human being.
I don't know what there is to gain for you by doing this other than fueling a false sense of authority in your life, better than this go study or do something productive taaki kuch ban sako and you actually have a say in your life, abhi kya kisi ke saath kuch kar doge and you'll regret those actions your whole life, case ho gaya then apne buddhe ho rahe maa baap ke saath chakkar kaatoge courts ke kamane ki umar me, kuch saal woh chalega fir case haar gaye then you have nothing in life kabhi kuch kaam nahi milega and society will look down upon you, abhi hi tumhari life kitni miserable hai ki you have to take the help of formats to have any respect in your life, aage is hi path pe chalte rahe toh aur zyada neeche girte jaoge, I understand that not all seniors are bad and jitne seniors jo ragging karte the ya karte bhi hain, I hope you can reflect on your actions and try to do better, instead of embracing your fellow humans you are belittling them ye kaisa tareeka hai jeene ka, agar meri identity reveal bhi ho gayi toh kya hoga aaplog maaroge mujhe aake and ragging karoge, I'll tell my parents and unke lawyers case kar denge college and aapki families pe, mujhe yahan se nikal ke kisi private college me daal denge, not a big deal for them or me, but think about yourselves, would you send your younger sibling or your child to an institute like this, at this point I'm not even angry at it I'm just disappointed ki aise log bhi hote hain duniya me.
Heard about some freshers offline jo keh rahe thi karne do ragging cause woh bhi karenge next year, you are dreaming of becoming the part of a system that's made to oppress you, you are nothing but sepoys, ek britisher ke naam ke college me padhke sepoy ban gaye ho kya, they use you to abuse your kind, become the part of the resistance against cultures like these cause you, yourself are gonna be subjected to this, don't fulfill their power fantasies, ye ragging sirf woh log karte hain jinki life worthless hoti hai, jinki life me khud ke naam ke kuch achievements nahi hote hain toh bas ye sochke khush ho jaate hain ki kisi ko oppress kar liya, inki life me koi power nahi hoti hai ye cowards hote hain jinki khud ki life me zero authority hoti hai toh ye tumhe daba ke ek false sense of pride lena chahte hain cause they have nothing worthwhile in their life, don't be a part of such crowds you are better than that, self respect lao khud ke liye and stand against this if you even have a shred of respect for yourself as a person. Don't be like these losers.
Achhe seniors bhi hain college me that will help you, you will find many such examples even on reddit jahan seniors acche hain and samajh hi jao aise gunde seniors ke notes kaise honge aise anpadh gawar logon ke notes leke kya karoge, baaki with time pata chal jayega kaunse seniors are genuinely good and kaun gunde hain, unka kuch nahi hona life me, apna dekh ke chalo and tumhe ya tumhare saath walon ko koi pareshan kar raha hai toh awaaz uthao, stick together with your batchmates, hamari as indians dabne ki adat ho gayi hai, pehle ghar pe dab ke raho then schools me teachers se and college me seniors se, and then job lage the boss se and then system se, har jagah dabte hi rahoge kya ? I hope itne kamzor nahi hain is saal ke log we have to be the resistance, easily nahi mil jaata hai kuch, have some self respect and we all are going to see this through.
Stick together we are the voice against rotten old systems, agar itna hi culture hai then jao burn all the widows woh bhi toh culture tha, why didn't you get married at 10 ? woh bhi toh culture tha, apne morals theek karo and culture ke naam pe kuch mat saho, with time and sensibility aise cultures end hote hain and now is our time, don't back down.
Saare evidences and instances of ragging save karke rakh lo, publically callout kar sakte ho toh karo, warna abhi save karlo and jab seniors ki placements and internships lagengi tab callout karna publically also tag the companies they are gonna be working out, nobody wants to work with problematic people, I talked to my family lawyer about ragging and shi woh keh rahe the ki pehle apne aap me solve karne ki koshish karo and agar kuch na ho and college management bhi na kuch kar raha ho then legal action lenge, but aise hi maan jayen ye log toh sahi hai warna jitno ke naam jayenge koi kabhi job nahi kar payega and pura college staff and management bhi dikkat me aa jaata hai
When all your friends are telling you how wonderful their seniors are and are helping them with stuff already and how good their college is and that they are having an amazing time at college but all you can hear in HBTU is ragging and formats and seniors harassing juniors, how is anything like this even happening in big 2026?!!!!!!!
Even in department groups they are forcing you to introduce yourself while referring to them as respected ma'ams and sirs, which is crazy how can anyone be this arrogant, seniors should honestly calm down this ain't all that, I'm sure there are seniors that are genuinely good and helping juniors here too but from initial impressions seniors seem horrible.
They are challenging students that are natively from kanpur to physical consequences, i don't know why they cannot understand they are gonna have to live in the same city and will definitely go out some time or other what if any junior does something to them, I genuinely heard some people talking about this, I hope seniors realise this can backfire on them both academically and personally.
I genuinely just wanna get over this senior and junior mess and enjoy my time at the college, hopefully I can do that from tomorrow.
I gave kee in may and since then there has been no calls or mails from the college, the counsellor I was talking to from KIET won't even pick up my call, tf do I do ???
They should've at least told me how I scored so that I would get my mind off this college, does anyone know what I should do ????
