health insurance?

my sister just started at UF and they said they don't take her insurance so they're automatically opting her into their insurance which is super expensive. why do they require insurance, if we already have? is there any loopholes around this? Our insurance is great IMO, but apparently it doesn't meet their requirements.

my dad also tried looking into other insurance plans that meet UF's requirements but it's super expensive.

I paid for the transcript PTE

I took a lot of classes and had different transcripts from multiple different colleges so I paid for the PTE thing to do 3 schools. but then I saw years ago in forums people were saying it made mistakes. Did anyone use it recently and had success with it?

Hey everyone! I’m helping my boyfriend look into studio/1BR apartments around Lake Eola/Downtown Orlando and would really appreciate any honest advice or experiences.

His budget is around $1800–$1900 max (all-in), and he’s looking for a modern building with good amenities like a gym and pool. Ideally, we’re also hoping for decent guest parking since I’ll be visiting.

We're going to tour:
Camden Lake Eola, Camden Thornton Park, Paramount on Lake Eola, CitiTower, Mondrian, and 55 West.

We’ve also scheduled tours at:
MAA Robinson, Skyhouse, Camden North Quarter, Central Station, and NORA.

We’re a bit unsure about downtown in general since we’ve heard mixed things about safety, homelessness, parking, and overall livability. He’s lived near UCF in student housing for the past few years, so we’re pretty new to figuring out what actually matters when choosing a downtown apartment.

If anyone has lived in or toured any of these buildings, we’d really appreciate any pros/cons or things to watch out for (management, noise, parking situation, safety, etc.).

Hi guys! I'm not seeing medical sociology minor as an option on caspa, what else should I put it under?

I wanted schools to see my minor because I'm very focused on health disparities and my personal statement and volunteering is about it.
