Motel flashback.

What should I mod this bike?
I’m planning to get new handle grips and seat first.

Hey everyone! I’m new to the world of mountain bike but I’ve been wanting to own one. Luckily I was able to score this bike from someone for free today. I rode it and it was sweeet. Gears works well. I have no idea what brand it is. The frame has been sprayed. I see some parts missing (shown in picture.) The brake parts are rust, how do I clean it? Or should I just get new one and replace it? They are a bit worn out but still functional.

What are some mods I should do on this bike? First things, I’ll get a helmet, handle grips, and a seat. Recommend me your favs. And what are accessories & supplies I should use for cleaning the bike and chains.

Any tips, ideas, suggestions would be appreciated!
