Gday, watching this show for the first time at s02e08, molly's losing her sight and chilling in their bohemian apartment and im wondering why they havent moved house in all this time, i thought maybe her and wayne are just a down to earth [scuse the pun] couple, but even Ed & Karen have the same house. Gordos place is humble. Margo sleeps on a sofa at work lol.

They have lush cars but very humble homes.

Im just wondering if theres some fun factoid that actually NASA astronauts are or were paid peanuts despite such skilled and hazardous work?

Gday, Im slowly ditching Google, needing to replace my Chromecast, my sharp TV is 17 years old but works ok, i do hdmi from my computer,

but i need something the kids can use to access plex Netflix, ABC, stan, binge, prime et cet. as i dont want them in my computer.

So i need either smart tv recommendations, where i can download whatever streaming apps [can u even do that without apple/google😳]

Or a casting thing recommendations like apple tv / chromecast with an easy UI kids can use.

My front yard got ransacked the other night, made me feel really vulnerable so i ordered a few argus pro wireless cameras as a quick fix [the options are overwhelming and dont have the mental bandwidth to set up anything wired atm] but now im worrying that the cameras themselves will become easy theft targets because the tiled roof itself only sits 8' off the ground, and the fascia / soffit only sits 7' ish off the ground 🤦🏼‍♀️

Im worried the solar panels will make them even more obviously wireless, and an obvious target.

They stole about 5 pot plants, a 1.2m cast iron plant stand, my hose sprayer and couplings, some tile mosaic craft my small kids made... nothing worth any money at all, i assume tweakers. And i havent been robbed in 15 years of living here.

So im worried that putting $300 worth of cameras up which can then be stolen might be a making the situation worse.

There are higher roof points but they dont face the entrance of the home.

Are they ways to make the cameras harder to steal?

Im AuDHD and adore this book because I love how infodump-ish and all over the place it is. Brilliant.

But im not great with inferencial comprehension and dont really understand that particular story, was it supposed to be a collection of vignettes? Are they meant to be connected? Why is it called "Dangerous People"?
