It cost him 500k to buy it outright so I am not disappointed on my return on investment as I made a few bucks but this was supposed to be our forever home. Unknown to him, I bought a beachfront property in Ogunquit(a pristine gay oasis). Do I share pictures of this house ? He literally paid for 80 percent of it. Or do I just move on? I love my condo in Logan Circle and it’s paid for. The kicker is that his mother wants me at her 80th birthday party. I am not sure that I want to go because she adores me and I don’t want to screw up their relationship. She blames him for our divorce because he was the one who cheated and got screwed by his new much younger boyfriend. I didn’t think twice about divorcing him as this was the second time he cheated.

I don’t do anything else and live in a green state. I have had cannabis edibles delivered to my hotels every time I am in DC. My company is anticipating a change in the overall environment in Washington next year and our business will be strong with this change. I have been looking to move to warmer climate and have been approached about relocating. I am coming in August and this will be my first solo trip. I was in DC in January, March and April with colleagues. Even though I am not closeted, I did not investigate the gay scene much. I was also recently divorced (October 2025) so I didn’t have a lot of interest in checking that out. If I move, I will definitely purchase a home and will live in the city. I am 45 now so I am not looking to party it up by any means but will definitely purchase a home where I can indulge.
