Smoking section on the Adventure

Just sailed the Adventure last week, and it was a solid experience. (We were lucky to get on before the power outage at the terminal).

The one gripe I mentioned on the survey was the location of the smoking section on the pool deck. It is situated so that smoke was constantly blowing into the entry of the WJ and you could smell it as far as the wash stations so no matter which entrance you use it was hitting you, felt like I was in the casino.

Anyone else experience this, or was it just my bad luck?

Don't call it a come back

This happened on Royal's Adventure OTS. And I was ranting at the time how bad their RTP was, and boom I pop major right before I bled out for the session.

Info for slot players

I did some research prior to my latest grind to prime on the Legend of Phoenix game that often appears in the RC casinos. It is one of the few machines that has some advantage play opportunities on land. (Yes, they exist) However, the ones on Royal are set up in the worst possible way. The progressive free game counters increase a set intervals. Typically the red is set to go up every 48 spins. By counting the spins between increases you can figure out what they are set at since the manufacturer ships them in only a few different configurations. Well they ones I played on Enchantment were on the worst possible setting that occurs where the blue increases once every 850 spins. So if you see a blue at 13 you might be in for a long battle if you are looking to chase a bonus (though it could pop early). On the blue bonus I had payouts ranging from 10× to 100× my bet. On the 10x I had 12 dead spins on the free games. Here is a link to the original article on how it works, and from my testing last week the article is spot on https://www.advantageslots.com/advantage-playing-igts-progressive-free-games/

I hope it helps. Good luck.

Amon Amarth

I must admit, I haven't exactly kept up with the whole Viking Metal scene over the years.

But this, this was glorious. You just had to immerse yourself. "Row like a viking", 😆 priceless.

That's what I love about festivals, you are going to see some interesting stuff.

Churros

You have to get a sweet treat at Churros and Cream.

It is truly a mom and pop operation. They came to UCF fairly often through my son's time there. He was such a regular that the lady recognized him at WTR. She was so nice and was excited to hear he graduated, even brought her husband out to talk about jobs and such. Experiences like that are magical. Give them some love and let them know that the kids at UCf absolutely adore them.

GnR quick take

I had pretty low expectations going in, and when I heard Axl on the opening number I said to myself this will be a early night.

Then Mr. Brownstone came on, and I thought ok he can do certain songs well enough I suppose.

And then the rest of the band started jamming out and before I knew it 1230 rolled around.

When Axl was off stage, they were absolutely fire, and he let them do their thing plenty of times throughout the night. It's just too bad Axl doesn't learn from other aging artists and adjust the vocal arrangements of certain songs when needed.

(I was in junior high when Appetite dropped, and can't believe I waited so long to see them)
