First time dealing with fleas.
Hi everyone,
I’m coming here very desperate and in need of advice/suggestions on how to get rid of fleas. I found some in my room and they have been targeting me in the apartment. My neighbors have also found fleas in their apartments and we’ve encountered them on our legs just from walking outside.
There was a family of raccoons that was staying underneath the complex before someone patched it up and im suspecting that is where they came from.
I ordered food grade diatomaceous earth because im thinking of also putting some outside but my neighbor had 2 cats and they like to hangout by my plants sometimes, but don’t know if I should use it without a professional.
I’m supposed to move out in a week with my roommates and do not want to bring any fleas with me. I’m seriously freaking out and very itchy. I feel defeated and it’s only been a week since I discovered them and no matter how much vacuuming/cleaning I’ve done they don’t seem to leave.
