How has he NEVER been in a marvel fighting game before this? Like seriously???

As someone who grew up on Dafoe’s iconic performance and also loved Marvel vs. Capcom 3… it just boggles my mind that not only has gobby never been in an MvC, but I also never even considered it a possibility either ?? It just makes way too much sense for it to finally be happening in god damn 2026/2027

Imagine the sprites we could’ve gotten if he was in MvC 2 ….

Stop being surprised that Bungie fans tend to like variety in their Bungie games

By the time Bungie finished their last Halo game, fans associated the IP with not just the campaign, but also the PvP, firefight, cosmetic customization, forge, theater mode, skulls, etc.

Destiny continued this design philosophy tenfold and arguably became an even more impressive feat in terms of the sheer amount of different things you could do and still be "playing destiny".

If we were talking about literally ANY other dev, I would understand the frustration with how many people here seem to really want something other than the main extraction experience, but as far as I can tell 99% of us still giving Marathon a chance are doing so because we are gigantic fans of Bungie's past FPS output and can still feel the trademark Bungie sauce beneath all the obtuse mechanics and punishing design decisions.

What I'm arguing for (probably to no avail) is a shift in attitude towards the idea that M A Y B E it isn't so ridiculous for Bungie fans to prefer when the Bungie game isn't laser focused on a single game-mode that also happens to feel extremely experimental and subject to change in the first place.

To be clear I think it would be cool as fuck if Marathon was just a neat lil side project that also doubled as a testing bed for some more out there ideas, but the sales-pitch for Marathon has been that this is Bungie's "next big thing" since day one, not to mention the budget clearly signaling that Marathon was not intended to have this niche of an audience only a month or so after launch.

As long as D2 is no longer active, and D3 isn't officially in the works, there is nothing entitled abt expecting a BUNGIE game to be enjoyable even if you aren't a 24/7 sweatlord. Especially when the main mode isn't even popular OR 100% figured out by the devs themselves.

[Switch 1] Are there, like, certain games that run like dogwater on microSD card no matter what?

I have a huge microSD card that I put all my digital games on for my switch 1 (non-oled), and for the most part I haven't noticed a difference in load times, performance, etc.

Except earlier this year I started a replay of Metroid Dread and noticed the load times were HORRENDOUS, like way way worse than I remember them being, and for awhile I just dealt with it until also noticing that Mario Tennis Aces seemed to take FOREVER to load literally anything as well.

After some googling I found a lot of threads mentioning microSD cards going bad, but this didn't seem like my issue cause games like Smash Bros, Breath of the Wild, and more are still loading just fine, and I decided to try moving just the two problem-games to my system's storage directly and now they load like normal ??

I guess I'm just curious if this is my specific SD card being weird or if there's a comprehensive list of games that tend to run like poo poo on SD card no matter what. Thanks in advance for any info/advice !!
