Not so compact logix

Fuck I wish AB made these badboys without the built in I/O.

Even a processor only that bolts onto the 1734 modules similar to Wagos.

Like making my little trainers so I can fuck around with them inside and not be in the road.

But the 5069 is huge

These series are similar and I don't want to cart a clx rack around.

Studio 5000. Time between inputs

I'm having a day and my brain isn't working.

I have a pulse input flow meter.

Totalizer no dramas.

1 pulse is 100L

I want to time between pulses then divide it and get an average rough liters per second.

I expect around 26 liters per second.

How would I go about counting time between the same input coming on in studio 5000?

From what I can read this the most accurate way to display a pulse input like this

Really bad acid reflux.

How do you deal with acid reflux and has anyone here had complications with it.

Since starting orkambi symdeko and now trikafta.

I've become extremely unwell after drinking. Haven't really had any help from my team other than its good to not drink.

I've also had constant sinus issues and no amount of flushing or sprays can help.

I have been doing reading and really bad acid reflux can cause the sinus issues and explain the sickness post drinking.

And by drinking now I mean two beers will make me feel like shit.

Has anyone here had similar sinus issues reflux issues?

Allen Bradley card differences.

Going through collection to sell.

Found these two cards.

Identical model.

Same series.

Circuit boards are not the same with what appears to my unlearned eyes additional circuitry on one of the cards

IVF experience

Beginning down the IVF path with my partner.

I'm a man with CF.

Anyone have experiences they'd like to share regarding their journey success or failure.

I understand my vas deferens is blocked but there is also a chance that I cannot produce viable sperm anyway.

So would like to hear of other people's experiences and if they were successful

Homelab proportional valve for water

Make a PID rig.

Pump on vsd two resoviors level sensor.

Going to gravity drain between tanks and keep a level in the bottom tank with my control loop.

I'm after a proportional valve with feedback.

24v 1 inch last piece of the puzzle.

Anyone know of anything cheap or appropriate?

I was going to make a function that varies the valve position to interrupt the gravity flow back and make the PID work.

Feedback would be nice so I can do a bit more with the valve.

AVEVA plant SCADA Alarm server sync issues

My site is different.

We run 6 servers

Two pairs of primary redundant.

And 4 other individual servers.

I have recently reinstated the primary servers for the primary redundant machines.

Previously they were running but I had this connection broken through configuration so nothing could see the primarys.

My issue is bringing them back now when I get all the servers going the alarm servers and databases sync.

But I am getting a bunch of alarms up that are not true or real and are unable to be acknowledged.

We use situational awareness with alarm indicators.

So it makes a mess when it does.

I have fresh reinstalled multiple times.

Delete all system files multiple times cleared all alarm files on the affected servers multiple times.

Can't sort it out.

The servers are 100% running identical projects.

Any ideas or anyone done a bit of work with system architecture of citect redundant systems.

T15 gen2

Hey guys

I have a t14 gen 2.

It has a busted screen and I need to replace it.

I would like to grab one of the cheap ones of Ali express. But I'm not sure on what one I need to buy.

How would I find the exact part number for the screen to make sure it's going to fit?

New wall time

Retired/development modules.

Networking. Going to the left for stuff that can handle ethernet.

Was looking at building din rail mounted test units but going to just make an I/O board to the right side with terminals I can wire from individual PLCs too.

4x4 to tow horse float. 25k

Looking at options. Current vehicle is tired.

After a 4x4 to tow a horse float under 25k.

Can go bit over but be nice if don't have too.

3.5t towing.

Have kinda of heard the colorados around that price have a bit of balls.

I know the rangers rip. When they are going that is.

And hiluxs just too high ks for that price to be worth it.

What should I be looking at and reasonable ks.

Old school trainers used to be plastic boxes that would mount in the rack

Have switches bcd displays analogues very compact and small.

Has anyone found like printed plastic blanks that can mount to dinrail and be populated in the same fashion?

I need to make some trainers

One that is not brand specific would be best.

Ideally compact like the old ones too

Recently acquired this.

I'm a product of Allen Bradley but have never had the pleasure of working with one of these.

I have a rig.

Pcmk

I can get the software and a machine capable of running it no worries.

What other cabling is required here for me to wake this up?
